The Library at Periyar College of Pharmaceutical Sciences is a new building covering 10,000 sqft, valued at Rs 1 crore. The library was inaugurated by Dr. Kalaignar M. Karunanidhi, the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. It has a vast collection of resources, including over 10,000 volumes, 79 National Journals, 25 e-journals, 2 International Journals, 48 CD'S, VCD'S, and Multimedia. The library also offers Research and Consultancy Services with an annual collection of journals worth 5 Lakhs. It is fully computerised, modernised, and well-maintained. Additionally, it provides access to over 3,000 Pharmacy Journals and e-books, a Reprographic facility, Internet access, and an air-conditioned Educational Technology Centre.

The Sports day is organized annually and usually includes competitions of all athletics, field events and indoor games. The shuttle courts and playing fields are favourite gathering spots for the students. The indoor game provides promiscuous facilities like table tennis and carom, which meets the needs of students sports development to participate in higher levels.

The institution is having excellent Internet Section with 25 systems with 1 GB broadband facility for Student and Staff for their research work.

In these days of fierce competition, professionals need to be good at a variety of skills like public speaking, presentation, argument debate, etc. They also should be able to explore other dimensions of human life like music and drama, dance and other cultural activities. In order to serve these needs, our campus of also houses a large amphitheatre. This theatre boasts of an ultra modern sound system, which is capable of being reconfigured to suit different needs. It can be used for pumping out heart-thumping disco. The stage is wired for 24 audio channels. We also have standard, boom, wide-angle microphones; and. wireless mics are used for question and answer sessions. The stage has a full-fledged lighting system with dozens of spots, floods, and dimmers. An automatic lighting programmer gives us the capability to program any sequence for cyclic or intermittent operation.

The central instrumentation laboratory is equipped with major instruments like Rotary Tablet Punching machine, Liquid filling machine, Bottle capping and sealing machine, Programmable tablet dissolution test apparatus, Environment test chamber, Ultra Sonicator, Cooling centrifuge, Double cone blender, Deepe freezer (- 70° C), BOD incubator, Horizontal and Vertical type autoclaves, Laminar air flow, Gel electrophori's apparatus, DNA sequencer and HPLC systems. A separate Aseptic room facility is available or any microbial works.

Periyar Maniammai Free Clinic has been providing healthcare since 1987 to inmates of the Periyar Centenary Educational Complex. Now, it serves the poor and needy in the surrounding area, covering a population of over 10,000 across 10 villages. IMPRESS Nursing Training is also conducted here in collaboration with the city corporation and 10 private hospitals.
