In terms of infrastructure, PSG itech is one of the best colleges in coimbatore. It is one of the few colleges in the coty which has upgraded its classroom to facilitate teaching through modern tools and techniques. The college has classrooms with Wi-Fi enabled LCD projectors, tutorial rooms, library and air-conditioned seminar hall for each department. The college is endowed with renovated hostels, gymnasium and playground. The college has taken measures to address the need for vigilance.

I have taken a course of mechanical engineering, since mechanical department has been on PSG since 1939. My career is well set if it is in PSG. The tutors are very much updated and talented, and helps students with all their needs, inspires them, motivates them and brings out their full potential. The curriculum is up to date and its very practical.

Compared to other colleges, the placement preparation here is very good. They make us job-ready in every step. We have aptitute classes, GATE training and we also have weekly mock interviews to prepare us for the job interviews. And this is very useful to find our flaws and rectify it before we face the interviews. This makea us more confident to face our placements.

It costs around 70 thousand rupees per year and yes the money is worth. Because of the expensive lab equipments and modern tools in every classroom. Also due to its hygeine and sanitation, we have a healthy environment

The campus life here is peaceful, unlike many other colleges it is not crowded and the buildings are easily accessable. Students participate in symposiums, culturals, and many other college clubs. These are encouraged by our tutors. The location is very safe and there are many hospitals nearby in case of emergencies

Overall, compared to any other college in this city this college is more peaceful and have a definite career path ahead. So i would recommend this college to anyone who seek an oppurtunity for a better life

1.The college has a wonderful environment to study and teachers here are so friendly enough.. Every class have smart phones and projectors . Laboratories are so good .The hostel is very nice and spacious. The mess and canteen food are so hygenic....The sports centre is good . Indoor gym facilities are avaliable . The library is so good with lots of resources . The auditorium is big and and can hold large events the seating capacity is around 1000+. Every class have smart boards and projectors .

Psg institute of technology and applied research is affiliated to anna university that seems a little drawback. But the standard of teaching is wonderful and helps us more to understand in a practical way. Students are allowed to access laboratories any time they wish and discipline here is highly monitored (like coming to classes in time , academic performances etc.) Moreover students are given lots of free platform to explore and expose them to the world. There are lot of clubs encouraged here

1.The placement cell is very supportive and helps us more. 2. They give us students based coaching and that helps more in interviews. 3. Average salary packages students get selected are around 8 lakhs per annum and highest is around 25 lakhs.. 4. The average placement status is around 90 percent which is so wonderful here .. Placements both psg tech and psg itech attend same companies and there is lots of opportunities for all branches to get a very good job. 5. Model interviews and training.

The college have all highly needed facilities and workspaces which gives more practical knowledge and industry experience. Every classes have smart board and projectors. The hostels are spacious with good food.

I am in the ECE department, and all the faculties are very well experienced and have high industrial knowledge which makes the education easy. There is complete guidance till we are placed in a company.

The Placement cell is very supportive, and they help us in every minute of our preparation. Various Top companies like Qualcomm hire our students. Many students go with a high Packages to the top tier companies.

Education here is a true value for money. The life here is complete and students get truly benefitted with the knowledge they get here and apply them into the practical world. The college also gives assistance for projects too.

psg institute of techonology and applied research has a very good infrastructure. it is well maintained and kept clean all the time. also hostel and canteen is very hygienic and they concentrate more in students health. every department is very active and many clubs was very interesting

academics are very good. they provide study materials and other posssible sources for studying like moodles and other online platform for studies and helping for courses like nptel and they want students to mini-project every year and they very careful in academics

i am still in second year. i don't know much about placements. but when talked about this to seniors. they said "the college main aim is to place every students in the placements". they try to get more companies so they can place more students
