There is a high-speed Wi-Fi connection available at the college that can be used by any student. In order to access the Wi-Fi, we need to just fill out a form and they will register our laptop into their system. There is a 3-story library at the college, which is currently under construction but will be ready by the end of the month. The hostels at our college are for students pursuing MBAs and master's degrees. B.Tech. students have to find a place outside of the college.
The teachers are well qualified and have completed their PHDs. They have industry experience too. Most of the teachers are good and always helpful, too. The curriculum is nice and has a diverse range of subjects from different fields. Exams happen twice a semester.
The placements are decent at our college. The highest package was around INR 30 LPA, and the average package was around INR 12 LPA. The major companies were JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, ICICI Bank, Tata AIG, etc. The internships were also good. The job roles that were offered are decent.
Good college.
The college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment which makes this college an awesome college. The classrooms, labs, hostels, etc. have the top-notch maintenance and design. The living spaces are clean and food quality is good and it is hygienic.
The course I studied there was B. Tech in Civil Engineering because I wanted to learn about the construction and development of infrastructure. The quality of education at my college was very beneficial for the students. The curriculum was updated and the course made me job ready.
The placements at my college is nice as more than 75% of the batch gets placed in good companies and the highest package reaches around 12 lacs for the CS branch and the average package is around 5-6 lacs. The placement processes are nice and the college is very supportive.
The college is essentially a value for money as the cost of course was 1.6 lacs per year and the skills and knowledge I learnt there is invaluable for me.
The campus life is very good as the college is in Ahemdabad so you will have a great time and vibe there.
Nice infrastructure
Our programme is a complete residential course. The infrastructure of the university is colossal with a beautiful green campus, which adds beauty to it. Classrooms are air-conditioned and have Wi-Fi facility. but there will be a mobile network jam on the campus. The library has a plethora of collections of books ranging from academic books to novels. The drawbacks of the university infrastructure are its drainage system and poor network signals. We have three hostels, two for boys and one for girls, where air-conditioned rooms are available.
Teachers are helpful, and most of them are on par with the kind one would expect from elite MBA institutes. Trimester system is followed in the university with more than 7 subjects in every term as of now. There is corporate relations cell, which keeps themselves updated with the latest corporate standards.
The university claims that it will provide placements and internship offers, but we got to know that it was not true in our first few months in the university. The highest salary package offered in 2018 was 19. 1LPA, and the average salary package was 8. 75 LPA and the lowest salary package was 6 LPA. Royal Enfield, Infosys, Wipro Amul and Zomato are the top recruiters of our college
Yes fess is high but affordable no dbout yes value for money
The campus life is awesome. There is a very positive vibe when it comes to extracurricular activities. These are conducted various departments. at Nirma university.
Nothing else
The college doesn't have all ne necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. It doesn't provide AC in some classrooms and doesn't provide a laboratory for management Student where they expect them to learn programming. Also they don't provide internet facility to the students and not even smart boards.
I'm studying BBA at Nirma University and the quality of teaching here is not that good as they say about it. The Curriculum is also not as per the current scenario of the business world. They just want to prepare students for basic jobs. That's it.
The word Placement shouldn't even exist here as for the BBA students there is no placement policy. We are only eligible for placements if we do our MBA from the Nirma University itself which is of no use.
Infrastructure is great as there is greenery everywhere in the campus . Yes, our college has comprehensive facilities including WiFi, smart boards, well-equipped labs, libraries, sports centers, and hostels. All are regularly maintained for optimal use, ensuring clean living spaces and hygienic food.
Professor and mentor are good . Studying computer science for its innovation and career opportunities. Teaching quality is excellent. Curriculum regularly updated, ensuring relevance and job readiness.
Placement is said to be good . I don't know about much because I am in first year . Placement quality is high with a high percentage placed. The highest package went to a computer science graduate. Average salary is competitive. Placement process was smooth and college support was excellent.
The fees is too high . I don't think it's value for money. Integrated BBA MBA course's fees is around 20 lakh for five years . BBA's fees alone is 3 lakh per annum and MBA's fees is 6 lakh per annum. I don't think it is value of money .
Campus is great and have many places you can sit and hangout with friends. Campus: Vibrant with green spaces. Best: modern facilities. Worst: occasional maintenance delays. Diverse activities for students. Community is supportive. Location safe, with emergency protocols in place.
No
The college has commendable infrastructure with sufficient facilities and a sports complex in progress. The complex is quite large with all the sports courts and grounds under construction and other various tools and equipments.
.The college has commendable placement records showing its commitment to the welfare of the students and promoting the education level which offers the students best quality education focusing on preparing them for the real life futuristic situations instead of only preparing them theoretically and primarily on books
The interaction with seniors show their placements to be quite satisfactory. They have satisfactory reviews with their hard work being provided for and the results are quite commendable. I do not have much experience and detailed views on this topic.
I currently pay 2,70,000 fees for each year which I would say is actually less than other colleges for the same course.
I enjoy interacting with people in the hostel, however the bachelors don’t get hostel rooms.
Not much.
According to me , this is strongest strength of nirma University, it provides an excellent infrastructure. You won't be having much issues with classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports centres and hostels .
I'm studying course of integrated bba MBA, so far the type of curriculum I found was average and was not upto industry related, however after bba 1st year the curriculum becomes more industry specific, so yeah u need bear the 1 st year
College has its own placement committee which is run by the students which also provide students experience in networking and communication, each year internship is provided by college which is compulsory and such internship provides holistic development and talking about placement, in integrated course the average stood around 12 lpa
The course is on bit expensive side , per year fees of bba phase is around 3 lakhs and of mba 5 lakhs each year, this is little expensive comparing it with average placement which stood at 12 lpa , however it is considerable option for mba , if one could not get in top management colleges
Campus Life at nirma is not so bad and not so great, we have regular fests to keep students engaged, however due to minimum attendance criteria it imposes many restrictions on students and talking about staff and faculty they are supportive in nature
The infrastructure is good although the students don’t get to be in air conditioned rooms as promised by the university. The premises is good and when we embrace the greenery we feel positive. There are different institutes and each one is designed particular to the course. The campus is spread on a vast area and is spacious.
The courses for bba are quite relevant to business and applicable in real life. Although it’s a real difficult to connect it to real life and its practical applications. If the student is just engrossed in studies he wouldn’t have practical exposure. But it’s a good opportunity to grow and make connections. The course imbibes everything related to business.
The placements after bba don’t hold great value in Nirma. Mostly it has value for its MBA and is known for that. The integrated course gives a direct way to be a part of the MBA program without applying or giving the CAT exam.
If i compare it with the colleges in Mumbai, it is quite nominal. It is not that expensive and affordable. Nirma also provides scholarship opportunities to those who need financial aid and also to those who are top scorer’s in ipmat exam.
People come from different places and it’s good to get in touch with people all over. The campus life is a good experience cause Nirma’s campus is very good. We get to learn a lot and overall we learn to balance academics with our own pleasures.
Apart from the rigorous attendance criteria that Nirma is known for and it’s strict rules that sometimes make us feel like we are in a school, being in Nirma i have learnt a lot and it’s a good experience. The faculties are good mostly and guide us. It’s a good opportunity to be in Nirma.
Amazing infrastructure with all basic amenities such as well equipped laboratories, acceaa to Wifi, library, hostels, sports centre etc. Yhe institute is highly disciplined in manners of attendance and academics.
Amazing faculty who are ever ready to help students in assisting and guiding them. The curriculum involves classroom teaching to field visits and giving them avenues to think beyond classroom. Provides diverse curriculum
Many top companies participate in Nirma University placements every year. Aspirants get a chance to grab good job opportunities based on skills. Average MBA package goes around INR 11 LPA as reported in 2023
Internships and industry project- students work witj faculty on research projects, offered every semester Strong alumini network that help with placement opportunities. Incubation centre-gives wings to your business ideas.
1) Multiple sports ground and coaching present 2) Moderately busy calendar with 1-3 monthlt events 3) Mess and Cooking arrangements are hygienic, quality and taste of food is acceptable. All in all, it provides a great exposure to students with great interaction.
Guards and CCTV Cameras present everywhere. Strict policy on ragging of students. All models of transport available for commuting to and from campus making it easy and sustainable for students for travelling everyday.
College haat all the necessary infrastructure facilities for and equipment for students from computer labs to modern classrooms. We have all the facilities like laboratories sports centre, hostels for boys and girls and good wifi connectivity and smart boards in each class.
I think nirma University is one of the best colleges in country for management studies,,and the quality of teaching is also very good, all the guidelines of ugc is followed, and up-to new education policy 2020.
The quality of placement is good in nirma on average around 12 lpa for MBA students, almost 100 % students gets placed for nirma, highest CTC last year was 30 lpa in MBA. The college is very supportive in placement of students
My college fees for bba is around 3-3.5 lakhs per year. Yes I think it is worth it as the quality of education and teachers we are getting also overall development like we learn python in bba is very unique.
My college campus is very around 120 acres with three canteens and multiple gardens and sports facilities. Students can get engaged in various activities from sports to clubs and committees. The teacher student relationship is also very friendly in nirma. It is completely safe and can handle emergencies.
The I-MBA program offered by NIRMA is pretty good in-fact its one of the best private college for this program ITS BEST FEATURES ARE- Vibrant campus Very good facility A balanced marking scheme (Not only written exams but quizzes and assignments are taken into account for calculating cgpa) Many clubs Things I didn’t like about this course- Very big batch size High attendance requirement Very strict facility.
Aspirant,
It will depend upon the cut off for this year. But you can predict from previous year cut off.
Here is a list of all NLUs and their respective cut offs in 2017 for the general category. Taking a look at this and previous trends if you have a rank till 1200 you seem to have a fair chance for All India seats in NLUs.

Hii There,
Congrats Buddy
Yes if you are holding a free ship card with yourself then all the universities of Gujarat and for all courses will accept it. However, only tuition fee is paid by government other fees like hostel will not be paid by them. You have to bear the cost of other things.
Also, I am a student of Nirma University only, so if you have any other query, feel free to ask me.
I hope this answers your question.
