Pune District Education Association's College of Ayurveda and Research Centre, Pune Admission Process

PDEA CARC is strictly done on the basis of national standards followed by the Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM) and the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. The admission cycle begins in May-June for programs that begin their academic year during August-September. 

The eligibility criteria for the BAMS program are: 10+2 with compulsory subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. Candidates who have completed their BAMS degree from a recognised university are eligible to apply for postgraduate programs like MD/MS. PDEA CARC accepts NEET-UG scores for BAMS admission, and AIAPGET scores are allowed in the process of MD/MS. 

PDEA CARC Application process

The application process for PDEA CARC varies with each program:

For BAMS:

1. Qualify the NEET-UG examination.

2. Apply for state-level counseling (since PDEA CARC is a private college, it might be involved in state-level admission procedures).

3. Fill the application form according to the guidelines of the state counseling authority.

4. Attach the required documents, such as NEET-UG score card, 10+2 mark sheet, and other certificates as mentioned.

5. Pay the application fee as finalized.

6. If shortlisted, go through counseling.

7. In case seat is allocated, report to PDEA CARC for the document verification and admission procedure.

For MD/MS programs

1. Clear the AIAPGET exam.

2. Seek admission to the state-level PG AYUSH counseling procedure.

3. Complete the application form for the MD/MS programs of PDEA CARC.

4. Submit AIAPGET score card, BAMS degree certificate, completion of internship certificate, etc.

5. Application fee

6. Attend counseling in case of shortlisting.

7. If selected, admission formalities at PDEA CARC.

For PhD programs

1. Application form(s) with research proposal following the guidelines given by the college

2. Entrance tests and interviews as conducted by the college.

3. Once selected, she must complete admission formalities and begin the PhD course.

  • NEET-UG/AIAPGET score card (if applicable)
  • 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
  • BAMS degree certificate and mark sheets for PG and Ph.D admissions
  • Migration certificate

  • Domicile certificate
  • Any other certificates as required by the college or state authorities.

PDEA CARC Degree wise Admission Process

BAMS: The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) program at PDEA CARC has an intake of 60 seats. Admission is based on the candidate's performance in the NEET-UG examination. Eligible candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects.

MD/MS: PDEA CARC conducts 14 specializations in MD/MS courses with a total of 60 seats. The admission is done through AIAPGET scores. Qualifying criteria for AYUSH MD/MS courses are according to CCIM and Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. Candidate must have BAMS degree completed.

Ph.D: The college offers a Ph.D program in 10 specialisations with a total of 42 seats. Admission procedures for Ph.D programs may include some additional criteria set by the college and the affiliated university. Candidates would typically need to have completed their MD/MS in the relevant specialisation to be eligible for Ph.D programs.

This are the cutoffs for BAMS.

For government seat you must score above 440+marks and for semi - government college the score should be above 410+marks and in private colleges the cutoffs are generally lower and score of above 380+marks secure a seat in ayurveda college.
