Raja Devi Degree College, Banda, is an affiliated college at Banda Uttar Pradesh. The college is NAAC accredited and is recognized by NCTE for offering varied undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Degree wise Admission Process
B.A: The process of admission in the B.A program is purely on the basis of merit. Marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) are required for entrance, as is the case for B.A program which has its approved intake at 1,200 seats and hence is one of the largest programs offered by the college.
B.Com: Admission for merits concerning the B.Com program. This means that selection is based on the performance of the qualifying examination. The number approved for the program stands at 140 seats.
B.Sc (Mathematics and Biology): Both B.Sc Mathematics and B.Sc Biology follow a merit-based admission process. Selection considers the marks secured in the qualifying examination. B.Sc Mathematics has an approved intake of 120 seats, while B.Sc Biology offers 60 seats.
B.Ed: The admission process laid down here in consideration of merit and entrance examination marks involve the marks secured in the qualifying examination. This selection process covers the set policies from the State Government/ UT administration and the University.hence, the approved intake for B.Ed is 100 seats.
M.A (Home Science, Education, and Mathematics): All listens to merit basis, and it denotes marks hired in the respective bachelor's degree. 60 would be the seats approved for all these programs.
M.Com: Like that of the M.Com, admission for this program is on the basis of merit, to be followed for selection based on performance from the bachelor's degree. The number approved for this program is 60 seats.
M.Sc Zoology: Admissions for the M.Sc Zoology program are quite merit-oriented as it counts the marks obtained from the relevant bachelor's degree. There are 20 seats approved for this program.
M.Ed: M.Ed admission norms are similar to that for B.Ed. It may have an addition of entrance examination scores and follows those policies set by the State Government/ UT administration and the University. There is an approved intake of 50 seats for M.Ed.
D.El.Ed: The program admission, Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), is merit-based with marks in the qualifying examination, and/or entrance examination scores are considered. This program has an approved intake of 50 seats.
I pursued Mcom from this college. But I had faced a trouble here bcoz library of this college didn't provides our course books in English version. Also the quality of teaching is in average, the students has to study more by themselves instead of depending fully on teachers for study.
Having good academic standing because students get the full support from the teachers end which is very helpful to solve your doubt about why the college is very good in terms of academics. teachers have well qualified
