Raja Kishore Chandra Academy of Technology (RKCAT) is a widely recognized technical institution located in Balasore, Odisha.   1. Diploma in Civil Engineering: Holding a sanctioned intake of 120 students, candidates desiring admission must have a sound foundation in mathematics and science subjects from their 10th standard or in an equivalent examination.
  2. Diploma in Electrical Engineering: Having an approved intake of 150 students, this course draws students with an inclination towards electrical systems and circuits. The admission criteria are based on performance in the qualifying exam, especially in physics and mathematics.
  3. Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering: This course has a more specialized focus with an approved intake of 60 students. An emphasis will be placed on those candidates that demonstrate strong personal merit for electronics and communication technologies.
  4. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: This eminent course also has an approved intake of 150 students. Admission is granted to those candidates who demonstrate good academic performance, especially in physics and mathematics in their qualifying examinations.

Also, for all diploma programs, the college monitors the overall academic performance of the candidates with special weightage attached to aggregate scores in subjects such as mathematics, physics, and other relevant science subjects in the form of the 10th standard or equivalent examination.
