The Library has a big reading hall with the support of more than 1000 books for self-study. Library provides an Open Access System to all its members. Students directly access their desired books from the shelves and borrow desired books from the Circulation Desk for home reading. At a time, a student can get up to 4 books issued from the library. In addition to above, an exhaustive list of journals, magazines and leading national and regional newspapers are also subscribed The RDFGIT Library is the heart of the Institute to support all educates- anal activities in the field of Engineering, Applied Sciences & Management. It has a rich collection of more than 18,500 technical books of Engineering & Applied Sciences, Thesis and Research reports etc., which is ever increasing in view of the expansion of courses and number of enrolling students. Teaching is examination-oriented based on student-teacher interaction And “students interacting with knowledge/information resource centre”. A well-equipped and well-managed library is the foundation of a modern educational Institute. A Library has the same function in any educational institution as the heart in the body. It circulates the knowledge and information through the body of the Institute.

The college has sufficient area for sports activities. The grounds for Cricket, Volleyball, and Football are being properly maintained throughout the year. The college also has Table Tennis, Badminton, Chess and Carom board. sport The sports activities are also open to hostlers (Both boys as well as girls). The Institute hosts various indoor and outdoor games for all-round development of the students. The Institute has a large playground where outdoor activities are carried out under the guidance of our sports department. The Sports department of the institute conducts various indoor and outdoor activities to maintain physical fitness of the students. Games & Sports Education in its broad sense means the development of overall lifelong personality of an individual. The practice of Physical Education & Sports is a fundamental right for all. This department is committed to developing cardiorespiratory fitness, general motor ability, differential ability, quick decision ability, quick judgment ability, quick reflex action and decreased movement time. The department preserves & develops the physical, intellectual, moral power of the human being and quality of life at national. Facilities: We have a specialized team with professional coaches and grounds for the following:- Cricket Volleyball Football Table-Tennis Badminton Archery Chess / Carom board Annual Sports Day: RDFGIT organizes sports day every year. Students participate for different events on the sports day and performed to their potentials. Events like Cricket, Football, T.T, Volleyball and chess are played.

The Computer Centre is fully air-conditioned and equipped with the latest computer systems to encourage the students to make full use of the facility to train themselves in modern computer applications and software applications and development. In addition, the students are provided practical experience in hardware technology through working on several computers and peripherals. A variety of special purposes peripheral devices like Scanner, Laser Printers, Inkjet Printers and CCD Camera are also available to the interested users. The Institute has an internet facility to share information with all the Universities and Research Centre around the world.

In order to satisfy the appetites of the students and to give them a break after a day's hard work, the institute campus is provided with a relaxing and comfortable cafeteria.
