No data provided by the college for admission procedure for the latest year
The RN College of Engineering and Technology has its premises located in Panipat, Haryana, and it takes a comprehensive approach towards admissions in any of its engineering and management programs. The merit-based admission system in the college enables the deserving ones to be selected fairly and transparently.
RNCET takes scores from the national-level Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) for undergraduate engineering programs (B.Tech). This aligns with the trend of admissions being carried out by most private engineering colleges in India and adds to RNCET's reputation as an institution that is serious about maintaining high educational standards.
The B.Tech aspirants can now look forward to applying once the JEE Main dates are brought into the public realm. Generally, for RNCET B.Tech eligibility, students must have completed the 10+2 standard with core sciences: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Application Process
The application process differs per program in RN College of Engineering and Technology:
For B.Tech programs:
1. The applicant must take the JEE Main exam.
2. Check the availability of admission notices on the official RNCET website.
3. Fill out the application form, which most probably can be done online through the college website or at the admission office.
4. Submit the completed application form, with required documents such as JEE Main score card, 10th and 12th mark sheets, and other required certificates.
5. Pay an application fee as defined by college guidelines.
6. Wait for a merit list or counseling based on JEE Main scores.
7. Complete course admission procedures if selected, which includes validation of documents and the fee payment.
For M.Tech and MBA programs:
The general procedure lies in:
1. To appear in appropriate entrance tests (GATE for M.Tech and CAT/MAT for MBA).
2. To fill in the form through either the college website or admission office.
3. To submit other required documents like graduation mark sheets and test scores.
4. In case of additional selection rounds like interview or group discussions, to participate in that.
5. To go through the process of admission once selected.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: RNCET provides five B.Tech courses: Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Admission to these courses is through JEE Main scores. Different courses differ in intake capacity, with Civil Engineering having 60 seats, while Chemical Engineering has 30 seats.
M.Tech: Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering are the four M.Tech specializations offered by the college. Though not mentioned above, admission into M.Tech programs in most institutions is usually based on GATE scores, perhaps followed by an interview process.
MBA: RNCET has courses in MBA. The specific admission process is not outlined, and as a trend, admission into MBA programs is mostly based on scores from national-level management entrance exams (like CAT or MAT) and followed-up by a candid interview and group discussion.
