Master of Education (M.Ed) is a two-year full-time postgraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Bengaluru City University, Bengaluru.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to M.Ed should have obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent grades in any one of the following teacher preparation programs.
i. B.Ed. with any undergraduate degree (with 50% marks each).
ii. B.A, B.Ed, B.Sc. B.ED
iii. B.E1.ED
IV. D.EL.ED / D.ED / TCH Undergraduate Degree (with 50% marks each).
Candidates who have passed B.ED, Examination of this University or any other University equivalent in which the candidate is recognized as eligible for admission to the course,/must have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate. For SC/ST students the percentage marks should be a minimum of 45%. However, candidates appointed by the Government of Karnataka are exempted from the above eligibility conditions.

Admission Details

Admission Shall be Made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/Government/University/UT Administration.
