RVS Padhmavathy College of Engineering and Technology, Kavaraipettai Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college is a residential institute and provides accommodation to students wishing to reside in the hostels. Each hostel in the institute is an independent unit in respect to its internal administration under the overall supervision of the Council of Wardens and the Hostel Management. The hostel is administered by hostel manager appointed by the Principal and he/she is assisted by an deputy Warden in all matters relating to the hostel.

The college library has a collection of about 5212 volumes and 1656 titles besides numerous video and audio cassettes on various subjects, It subscribes for 36 Indian journals, 36 Indian magazines and 18 International journals and magazines (Printed). 275 Online Journals (IEEE – 204 & ASME – 71) Its services are Reprographic services, Audio Visual Services, Automated Catalogue search, Internet access etc. The main objective of the Library is to enrich knowledge and satisfy the information needs of users. Apart from the college library all departments have their own individual libraries in the department complex. We have membership with British council division, Anna university Chennai and IIT Chennai. 

The college has a departmental-based laboratories facility for the students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has a Internet connection is provided to all departments, computer labs and the library in the University. Broadband network speeds at 12Mbps and selective Wi-fi connectivity locations are present

The College has a fleet of many buses to transport students and staff from various parts of the city and its neighborhood areas to the College and back home Transport facility will be arranged to every student. Every student is expected to avail the transport facility to enable him/her to be punctual to come to the College.
Besides the regular scheduled trips, the facility is extended for occasions like after the College hour Special Coaching classes, Placements and Training, Visit to Local Industries, hospitals, NSS Camps, etc.
