Admission is based either on a candidate's performance in the Pre Polytechnic Test (PPT) conducted by PEB, Bhopal; or on the candidate's results in the 10th standard qualifying examination. The selection is through Centralized Online Counseling or College Level Counseling conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, MP.
Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering: With an approved intake of 54 seats, this program applies the same admission process as that of the Mechanical Engineering diploma. Admission is based on the PPT score or the 10th standard results, followed by the counseling process organized by the Directorate of Technical Education, MP.
Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering: This program also offers 54 seats and follows the same admissions procedure as the other two diploma courses. The admission for these prospective students is either through qualifying for the PPT examination or qualifying through their 10th standard results, after which they join in the centralized counseling process.
