Sakshi Institute of Technology and Management (SITM) was set up in 2012, Farsh of Guna, Madhya Pradesh. He is the principal of this co-educational institition which is an affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal and accredited by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). SITM currently has five engineering undergraduate programmes and these are all day programme leading to a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree. The institute has a faculty capacity of 85 members and chartered with creating professional workforce and also spearheading technological advancement. Founded to offer engineering education, SITM specialises in faculties such as Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science and engineering , Electronics and Communications and Electrical Engineering.

Sakshi Institute of Technology and Management provides students with adequate facilities that enable them fulfil their academic and personal needs. SITM’s campus has fully furnished laboratories, smart classroom, and a rich collection of latest magazines, international journal and research papers in its library. It also has excellent support infrastructures for IT facilities with high band width internet connection in round the clock basis. In order to provide suitable environment for learning the institute offers well furnished and equipped hostels for boys as well as girls with all the requisites comforts and fun amenities. The campus amenities also entail a cafeteria, an auditorium and in an attempt to enhance the lifestyle of the students, a sports field. There is our dispensary to attend to students’ medical needs when in operation during the OPD period.

SITM currently has five full time BE courses all of which take four years to complete. Currently, the institute has sets a capacity to admit 60 students for each of its programmes and hence a total of 300 for all its programmes. These programmes are intended to equip students with adequate knowledge and skills in their area of chosen engineering specialisation with the view to enabling them practice their profession effectively or further their education in the area of their specialisation.

The admission criteria starting at SITM Guna is thoroughly governed by the JJEE Main examination scores. A brevity of intending students to courses that offer a given programme demands that they meet the set requirements. Shortlisting candidates across all streams of the BE course, the institute uses the JEE Main score. , it helps to sustain this policy of standardisation, whereby only students with a firm grounding in mathematics and science are allowed into the programmes. SITM’s academic calendar is usually scheduled in way that students have enough time to prepare and sit for the JEE Main examination. The institute also has a placement cell which coordinates in matters related to campus placement and the process by which students transform from the academic to working environment. Unfortunately, specific scholarship information is not provided, however SITM strives to assist students in their academic endeavours. That is why the institute’s location in Guna helps students from different parts of the country get to the location easily as it is near Guna Railway Junction (27.4 km) and Guna Airport (28.2 km).
