Salbari College, Salbari Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College library plays a significant role in an academic institution. Society needs a library for imparting better education, both formal and non-formal. The College library has a sufficient collection of books in the form of text and references. Currently, the College Library is situated with the College's main building. In addition, important Magazines, Journals, and Newspapers are regularly subscribed. There is also a facility for a Reading Room in the main library itself. For better learning, the provision of a Computer facility and E-library is also going on. The students have been issued library cards for borrowing books from the library subject to Library Rules.

The College presently runs a hostel for Girls’ students only with all facilities within the campus. Great care has been taken to make the hostel a home away from home. Nutritious, hygienically prepared food is served. Admission into the hostel is based on merit basis as the seating capacity is limited. The hostel has a capacity of 80 (eighty) borders at present.

The College has developed a computer laboratory with 50 seats at present.

The College auditorium, with a sitting capacity of 500 students was constructed with Financial Assistance from UGC and is used for holding various competitions during the College Youth Festival along with other cultural programs besides seminars and meetings.

The College has a playground within the campus which is large enough for all outdoor games and all athletic events. Multi Gym and indoor stadiums for holding various Gymnasium and indoor events are under construction.

The College has an affordable parking shed for cars, bikes, and bicycles of College employees within the College campus and for Students outside the campus.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The College has a well-furnished and hygienic canteen for teachers and students on the campus which provides healthy and nutritious food for refreshment. It usually functions from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. on all working days.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.
