Satya Ranjan College, Kalain Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a library facility for all students. The college is constantly trying to improve its collection including books, journals, and newspapers. The objectives of the college library are to ensure easy access to its existing resources. The library has a good number of books, journals, newspapers, E-collections, etc. It also uses LibWare ILS software in library management and provides e-resources to its users. The college library has been registered in NDLI.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. The College canteen also caters to the functions organized in the college like seminars, training programs, annual functions, sports meet and workshops, etc. The canteen staff takes care to provide the students and staff of the college a nutritious and hygienic food on campus. The canteen advisory committee keeps vigil on the service quality, quantity, and quality of the edible staff and beverages sold in the canteen. The canteen supports a tobacco-free and plastic-free campus. Most importantly, the canteen provides meals to students and staff at a very minimal price.

The college has 13 classrooms including 1 smart classroom with having LCD projector and smart TV. Each classroom is equipped with electricity and other accessories like a blackboard, chalk, duster, desks, and benches.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. IT facilities from time to time and providing the facilities to its users. The library and office of the college have computers and other equipment necessary for them. College office bearers regularly monitor the college website and have regular interaction with the IQAC coordinator. A Computer in the office section and a computer in the IQAC room are installed with necessary peripherals like a printer and scanner.

The entire campus of the institution is enabled with Wi-Fi facilities. Wi-Fi facilities are provided by BSNL Bharat Fibre with speeds up to 60 Mbps.

The college has Gym facilities available for the students. The facilities have been utilized by the student under a Teacher–in–charge.

The college has all the necessary first-aid kits for giving immediate first-aid treatment to sick and needy students and faculty members. The students with serious illnesses are immediately taken to nearby hospitals and parents are informed immediately.

The Nature’s Club of Satya Ranjan College aims to enhance the environmental, economic, and social well-being of our communities, minimize the use of natural resources, and reduce its impact on our environment. The club considers it the prime objective to educate the fraternity about the duties and responsibilities of citizens to ensure sustainable development for future generations. The Nature Club operates on the principles of “CONSERVE AND PRESERVE” the natural resources available around us. By following these principles, the club aims to promote responsible use of resources, protect the environment from further damage, and enrich it for future generations. Through a variety of initiatives such as organizing nature walks, tree-planting drives, and waste management programs, the club intends to raise awareness about the importance of nature and encourage students to adopt sustainable practices. The ultimate goal of the Nature Club is to promote a deep appreciation of nature among students, fostering a sense of responsibility towards the environment and inspiring them to become future leaders in the fight against environmental degradation.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
