Satyug Darshan Institute of Engineering and Technology, Faridabad Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Satyug Darshan Institute of Engineering and Technology (SDIET), Faridabad, one of the eminent institutions, is offering an array of undergraduate programs pertaining to the engineering as well as management. The institute has a systematic admission based on the merits of the candidates in taking up its courses. This SDIET is established by the AICTE and comprises 6 courses under the trinity of degrees: B.Tech, BBA, and BCA. The SDIET admission process follows that of the academic calendar. 

Generally, forms are invited during the early months of the year, in order to start classes in August-September. Entrance into the B.Tech programs of SDIET is undertaken through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, which is a national level entrance examination for budding engineers aspiring to pursue such fields.  Eligibility criteria vary from program to program. The candidate will be eligible for admission to the B.Tech courses only if he/she has studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at 10+2 level. And for some programs, the criteria will also depend on performance in qualifying exams (10+2).

Application Process

The application process for admission to Satyug Darshan Institute of Engineering and Technology depends on the course applied for.

For B-Tech programs:

1. Appear for JEE Main
2. Visit the official national website of SDIET (http://www.satyug.edu.in) and click on the admission portal
3. Fill out the online application form with personal details, academic details, and JEE Main scores
4. Attach the necessary documents like 10th and 12th mark sheets, JEE Main scorecard, and other relevant certificates
5. Pay the application fee as mentioned on the website
6. Submit the duly filled admission form
7. Wait for merit lists to be drawn on the basis of JEE Main scores
8. On being shortlisted, attend counseling and complete the admission formalities

For BBA and BCA programs:

1. Enter the official SDIET website and access the admission portal.
2. Fill in the relevant personal and academic information on the online application form.
3. Upload other required documents, such as mark sheets for 10th and 12th grade, as well as other supporting certificates.
4. Application fees are paid online.
5. Submit aimed application form.
6. Await notification of the personal interview round.
7. Attend the scheduled personal interview.
8. Final selection basis would be 10+2 marks and performance in the interview.

Admission Process Degrees wise

B.Tech: SDIET offers B.Tech courses in Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Engineering. For availing admission in these courses, students should perform well in JEE Main. B.Tech Computer Science Engineering has the maximum intake of 120 seats, while the Mechanical Engineering branch admits 30 students. The B.Tech Computer Engineering program, launched this year, is open to 60 students.

BBA: Numerous BBA programs are provided, including a general one, BBA in Digital Marketing, and BBA Industry Integrated Financial Services and Banking. Admission is on a merit basis according to percentage marks gained at the 10+2 examination, followed by a personal interview.

BCA: A BCA in Data Science program is offered by SDIET with 120 seats. Admission to the program happens through merit-based evaluation of percentage marks obtained at the 10+2 examination, followed by a personal interview.
