The IPS Academy School of Architecture, Indore, features one of India's foremost training institutes in architectural education, which gives this cursory overview of admission-related processes pertinent to the different programs little hope to attract creatively gifted and genuinely deserving applicants. The major two professional courses offered by the institute are a 5-year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) and 2-year Master of Architecture (M.Arch.).
D.T.E. Madhya Pradesh regulates admissions for the B.Arch. program by merit based on qualifying examination (10+2) results or national-level entrance examination results obtained from the students. Later, for candidates seeking admission, as directed by the Council of Architecture (COA), a candidate has to clear a National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) or the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Paper II for Architecture conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). To be eligible, candidates should complete the 10+2 or equivalent examination, having Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects, and fulfill the cut-off marks in the NATA or JEE Main Paper II.
