    Home :: Amenities & Services :: Sports Complex Sports Complex The University has established itself as a leading center in sports in the region and is presently catering to the sports need of Children, Youths and old People of Greater Gwalior by organizing regular Yogic classes and scientific coaching camps in different games and sports. The Sports Complex has got two floodlight basketball courts with portable uprights, three floodlight tennis courts, four volleyball courts (caged) one hockey ground, one grassy football ground, standard cricket ground with turf wicket, one Kho-Kho, two Kabaddi, one Handball, one Indoor hall for Table Tennis, Judo, Aerobic, Badminton, Wrestling and Weight Lifting and a 400 m. grassy track. The sports complex of a university is named as Mahadji Scindia Sports Complex.
  • Gym
    The newly constructed Gymnasium which is one among the best in the Indian Universities with all modern facilities has been named Madhav Rao Scindia Gymnasium.
  • I.T Infrastructure
    The Computer Centre was established in 1988 under the able guidance of the then Vice-chancellor Dr. K.K. Tiwari. It was formally opened by His Excellency Prof. K.M. Chandi, the then governor of Madhya Pradesh on the auspicious day 28 February 1988. In the beginning, this Centre was equipped with the Main Frame ICIM 6000. The furnishing of the center was also of the latest type and the same was done by the ICIM agency. This center was one of the best centers in this part of the country. The first course launched by the center was Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application, which was later on converted into MCA. The pass out of this course could obtain good placement in various organizations. Computer Centre was established for the purpose of providing a central computing facility to university teaching departments and research activities. Another objective of the center was to computerize various activities of the university in order to provide better services to the students. Since its establishment center has performed various tasks assigned to it satisfactorily. The center is also equipped with the Internet. University has started Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application under the Computer Centre. Computer Centre was established for the purpose of providing Central Computing facilities to university teaching departments and research activities. Another objective of the Centre was to computerize various activities of the university in order to provide better services to the students since its establishment center has performed various tasks assigned to it satisfactorily. In 1995 Centre started the number of short terms courses in various advanced areas of computers. These courses are running with great success and have gained tremendous popularity among the public. At the same time, the center has taken the responsibility of computerizing various university tasks. The computer center is well equipped with a network of LAN and UNIX incorporating the latest hardware technologies. The students are apprised of all types of latest advancements in the field of software and hardware.
  • Boys Hostel
    Academically and socially very congenial environment is provided to all the students residing on the campus. The hostels have all the required facilities with well-furnished rooms. Appropriate security arrangements have also been made for these hostels. , the existing accommodation is being extended to provide more rooms. One of the boys' hostel named after Captain Roop Singh, a veteran hockey player is also located within the campus to accommodate 150 students. Another boy’s hostel is Arya Bhatta Hostel, which is also well furnished with the Internet and other recreation facilities
  • Girls Hostel
    Academically and socially very congenial environment is provided to all the students residing on the campus. The "Mrignayani Girls Hostel" and “Tatya Tope Girls Hostel” are situated within the campus. The hostels have all the required facilities with well-furnished rooms. Appropriate security arrangements have also been made for these hostels. In view of the increasing strength of girl students, the existing accommodation is being extended to provide more rooms.
  • Guest Room/Waiting Room
    The college has a guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
