SBSEC offers admissions to a total of 13 courses at the UG level. SBSEC admissions are offered to students who meet the eligibility criteria for the course of their choice and apply for admission by filling out the online application form. Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College admission is based on the scores of an entrance test.

Students are required to apply for the Common Undergraduate Entrance Test (CUET-UG). After the entrance tests, students who clear them are invited to attend a round of counselling.
