SPCOP Pune Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College has First Aid facilities including Sick Room to provide medical assistance to students who are physically ill. The room is properly ventilated and furnished with a bed and primary care materials with the sick room. The primary medicine includes OTC medicines and all the laboratories have first aid kits for the primary treatments

The college students of SPCOP performed fitness activities, and that commitment can be found in the campus’ Gymnasium Centre. A well-equipped gymnasium is available on campus for students and faculty to stay fit. Physical and mental growth is essential to achieve success in life. Physical activity is good for your mental and physical health. 

The college has a library with a carpet area of 181 sq. m. The library on the 3rd floor of the college Library has a book issuing Counter, Stack Area, and a seating area for students. Library timings are 9.30 am to 5.30 pm. The library is managed by Mrs. Suvarna Suresh Mangulikar. B.A., M. LIB & InSc, SET.

The College Sports and cultural activities are important in the overall development of students. The institute’s campus has provided a playground with a well-equipped gymnasium and facilities for indoor and outdoor games for the students to maintain their physical well-being and also provide an opportunity to participate in various sports events.

The College has wide state-of-the-art information technology tools that are designed to meet the computing and communication needs of the Institute. SPCOP has a fast, reliable, and robust computer network of more than 200 Nodes. This network has WI-FI & LAN connectivity to all the blocks and departments. All the departments are connected through layer 2 & 3 switches to provide 32mbps connectivity at the user end. The computer center provides centralized distribution of internet, Wi-Fi & firewall security to the entire network in the institute. Internet connectivity is provided by Sai Digital Services Gazon Communications: 32 Mbps broadband.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The College WI-FI with a bandwidth of 32 Mbps is made available for students to refer to the online resources for curricular and co-curricular needs. Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity throughout the Institute are available 24x7. 

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The Institute has constructed 12 laboratories for B. Pharm and M. Pharm students. All laboratories of respective departments are equipped with modern facilities and instrumentations for conducting the regular Practical schedule as per the curriculum design by Savitribai Phule Pune University and to carry out the research work undertaken by UG and PG students. Fire extinguishers and drainage systems are available in all laboratories and corridors for safety purposes. Exhaust fans are fitted in order to ensure adequate ventilation in the laboratory.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The College transport facility is fully equipped to provide the safest & the most convenient transport solution. The college provides excellent transportation facilities with a fleet of buses separately for students and staff. Transportation focuses on accessibility rather than mobility and our college provides a wide range of transportation facilities. We covered the entire route through our bus system. 

The College Sharadchandra Pawar College of Pharmacy has provided a good Central Girls Hostel facility that can accommodate up to 100 female students. Each student is provided with a single bed, a chair, a table, and a suitable locker facility on three sharing bases. The hostel has a spacious dining hall where healthy, delicious meals are provided at reasonable rates.

The College's Separate well-light and ventilated 4 classrooms are available for conducting the regular schedule. The classrooms are well equipped with audio-video teaching aids internet facility viz. Green board, a Liquid crystal display projector, and Over Head projector to meet the state-of-the-art infrastructure teaching facilities of modern educational facilities. All the Classrooms have a comfortable seating arrangement.

The College has provided a separate parking area at the college to students and staff for four and two-wheeler vehicles.

The college has an Extracurricular facility for all students.

The college has Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
