Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Mangalore University, Mangalore.

Eligibility Criteria

i. Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in Bachelor‘s Degree and/or the Master‘s Degree in Science/Social Science/Humanity, Bachelor in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55 percent marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the program.

SC/ST/OBC/PWD/371(J) and any other categories/type shall be as per the rules of the Central Government/State Government whichever is applicable

ii. The candidate should specify whether she desires to be a
a. Teacher for 6-8 and 9-10 std eligibility, or
b. Teacher for 8-10 and 11-12 std eligibility (Only for PG Qualified)

Admission Details

Admission Shall be Made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.
