24 MonthsBachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Karnataka University, Dharwad.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates with at least fifty percent marks (including IA)either in Bachelor‘sDegree and/or the Master‘s Degree in Science/Social Science/Humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55 percent marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the program.SC/ST/OBC/PWD/371(J) and any other categories/type shall be as per the orders issued by the Central Government and State Government whichever is applicable.
- The candidates should specify the level of specialization He/She desires to be
a) Teacher for VI-VIII or IX-X standards.
b) Only candidates with PG qualifications are eligible to teach IX-X or XI-XII
Admission Details
The admission for management quota shall be made on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination or if any other selection process as per the policy of the Central /State Government/ University admission procedure specified from time to time.
