Degree-wise Admission Process
Diploma Programs: Shri Vishwanath College of Polytechnic, Sultanpur conducts five diploma programs in engineering disciplines. The acceptance processes for the various diploma programs are alike except for minor variations regarding the number of seats.
The program of Diploma in Production Engineering: This program has an intake of 60 seats. This course fits candidates that are much inclined to the various manufacturing processes and industrial production. Candidates are generally qualified with a passing entry of 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
The Diploma in Civil Engineering: The present program accepts students with an entrance of 60 seats interested in infrastructure and construction. Other eligibility criteria remain the same as for other engineering diplomas, requiring a 10+2 qualification with subjects of PCM.
Diploma in Electrical Engineering: This program has the highest existing intake of 90 seats, the highest of all, due to electrical engineers being in high demand. Students with a good foundation for this course in physics and mathematics are strongly advised to enroll in this course.
Computer Science and Engineering diploma: This program offers 60 seats catering to the growing IT sector. Candidates with an aptitude for mathematics and logical reasoning are the best fit for this course.
Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering: This specialized program combines electronics with communication technologies, allowing for an intake of 30 seats. Eligibility criteria remain consistent with that of other engineering diplomas.
