Shridevi Institute of Paramedical Science, Tumkur (SIPS) is a renowned institution for paramedical education. B.Sc Programs: The B.Sc programs offered are in Medical Lab Technology, Operation Theatre, Renal Dialysis, Respiratory Care, Anesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology, Neuro Sciences, Imaging Technology, Perfusion Technology, Emergency and Trauma Care Technology, Cardiac Care Technology, and Optometry. Admission to these programs is based on the merit attained at the 10+2 education.
M.Sc Programs: The institute offers M.Sc programs in Clinical Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology, and Haematology and Blood Transfusion. It is necessary for a candidate to have undertaken a bachelor's in the relevant discipline in order for them to be eligible to apply. Admission will either involve direct admission based on merit undertaken in leading categories or through selection tests.
