Shyam Shah Medical College (SSMC) in Rewa is among the major prestigious government medical colleges in India according to Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Jabalpur. Apart from such recognition, the college is also well-known with the National Medical Commission (NMC), which imparts several undergraduate and postgraduate medical programs. The admission process of the college is extremely detailed and has well-established criteria to select the most suitable candidates for its various courses. The expected time for the admission cycle to commence is May-June for SSMC each academic year, which usually happens around August-September. Generally, admission to the college is made through national-level entrance examinations. There are different examinations for admission purposes into undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The entrance procedure for MBBS is done based on students' scores in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test(NEET UG). The similar procedure applies to MD and MS postgraduate courses based on performance within the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate (NEET PG).
To cut to the chase, the basic eligibility criteria to gain entry into the undergraduate programs are that the students must have completed the 10+2 qualification from a recognized board with compulsory subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. For instance, for admission at the postgraduate level, a student would require possession of an MBBS degree from a recognized university. However, these eligibility criterions may differ across courses as defined in guidelines from the National Medical Commission. Dates relevant to the admission process lie in the dates for various national-level entrance exams. For instance, the NEET UG 2024 results were announced on June 4, 2024, allowing a retake of the suffering candidates receiving grace marks on June 23, 2024. The NEET PG entrance examination is to conduct on June 23, 2024, for an upcoming batch. The website of SSMC and the respective exam would be updated from time to time and allows candidates to be aware of any important facts regarding application deadlines as well as exams and results announcements in relation to them.

Degree wise Admission Process
MBBS: An intake of 150 students will be made each academic year for the MBBS course at SSMC. NEET UG is a prerequisite examination needed to apply for this course. Besides, applicants must possess at least a 10+2 qualification with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the primary core subjects.
MD/MS Programs: There are a number of MD and MS degree programs offered in SSMC, such as General Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Anesthesia, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pathology, Physiology, Radio Diagnosis, Anatomy, Community Medicine, Psychiatry, Microbiology, Orthopedics Biochemistry, Forensic Medicine, ENT, Dermatology Venereology and Leprosy, and Pharmacology. Admission to such courses is through NEET PG scores. The number of seats differs between 1 and 19 for each specialization.
Diploma Courses: SSMC offers some diploma programs. They include Diploma in Child Health, Diploma in Ophthalmic Surgery, Diploma in Clinical Pathology, and Diploma in Anaesthesia. The other diploma also uses NEET PG score percentile for merit, and number of seats availably is for each range between 2 and 8 depending on the course.

You have tagged Shyam Shah Medical College which is a Government Medical College , so it doesn't have any private or management quota seat
In neet 2019, 561 marks was the lowest marks that was required for general category for getting into Shyam Shah Medical College, Rewa under MP state quota
But cut off marks keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.
So , you should try to get at least 580-600 marks to be on the safer side in your neet examination to get into Shyam Shah Medical College, Rewa
