No data provided by the college for admission procedure for the latest year
Sigma College of Architecture, Kanyakumari, is quite reputed in professional architecture programs offered by it. The most important part of admission is that the college has a very integrated admission process for developing and selecting qualified candidates into the program. The admission process is mainly on national-level examinations and performance in the qualifying examinations.
For undergraduate admissions, Sigma College of Architecture accepts scores from two basic entrance exams: National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). This balanced approach ensures that the assessment of the candidate for future practice in architecture is both well-rounded and followed by corresponding academic achievement.
It also considers JEE Main scores for B.Arch admissions, thereby providing an alternate route for engineering aspirants into architecture. Therefore, this simultaneous acceptance of NATA and JEE Main scores assures the widening of chances for applicants, thus ensuring a chance for candidates, no matter their academic backgrounds, to study architecture at Sigma College.

B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture): The intake of the B.Arch program at Sigma College of Architecture is 80 students on a yearly basis with a professional five-year duration. Admission to this program is based on the candidate's performance in the NATA or JEE Main examination, along with the score obtained in their 10+2 or equivalent examination. Under the selection criterion, the entrance examination score and qualifying examination marks will follow a ratio of 50:50 weightage. Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects.
M. Arch (Master of Architecture): Over a period of two years, Sigma College of Architecture shall offer a postgraduate M.Arch program that will accommodate 20 students. Admission details pertaining to the M.Arch degree are unspecified, although it is usually understood that the candidates would need to have completed a B.Arch program from a recognized institution. The selection may consider the past performance of the candidate in the undergraduate segment and possibly an entrance examination or leading to an interview.
M. Plan (Master of Planning): The college has an M.Plan scheme, but nothing is said about its admission process and intake capacity. Historically, it can be noted that M.Plan programs would require applicants to hold a relevant bachelor degree in architecture, planning, or related fields. It would be useful for prospective students to contact the college to get very specific admission requirements and procedures for this program.
