The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college provides a state-of-the-art gymnasium, fully equipped with the latest equipment within the campus. Instructors and trainers are also available to train the students and staff. Membership to the gymnasium can be availed by all the students. One can avail of this facility either in the morning or in the evening as per convenience.

The college central library is computerized and is stocked with thousands of books. The intake of books is a regular feature in the library and no important title related to the courses of study is missed. In addition to the course books, general books for personality development, general knowledge, handbooks, yearbooks, reference books, etc. are also added to the collections. The library subscribes to national and international subject journals, and magazines of current interest along with national and regional dailies to keep the students abreast with the day-to-day happenings in the world and their fields of study. The library is tastefully furnished and it can seat 150 students at a time in its spacious reading halls. The serene atmosphere in the library with rows of neatly stacked books plays a major role in attracting the students to the library for serious study and supplementing their class notes. The library has 493 nos. of Text Books, 2911 nos. of Reference books, 29 nos. of Journals in which 7 are National and 22 are International Journals, and 6 nos. of magazines that cater to the needs of all engineering and Polytechnic students. Apart from books, it has a huge collection of audio-video material, CDs & DVDs. The library maintains a separate “Book Bank” collection exclusively for meritorious students.

Games and sports are a necessary part of education. Extra-curricular activities empower students to make their own active decisions and also help them to gain accurate experience, skills, and confidence to lead them on the path of their future. Moreover, participating in games and sports is very beneficial in developing and understanding one’s personality type. In essence, games affect a person’s psychological state of mind which leads to excitement and brings out the feeling of being proud of accomplishments. Sports and games encourage us to face all the hard challenges of life. SIRDA College has planned the timetable in such a manner that studies and games are balanced for developing the outer and inner personalities of students. Various indoor and outdoor games are available such as Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball, Kabaddi, Athletics, Table Tennis, Weight Lifting, Power Lifting, Gym, Carom board, Chess, etc.
