SJB School of Architecture and Planning, is an esteemed college situated in Bangalore, Karnataka, providing numerous courses in architecture and design. The selection procedure at SJB School of Architecture and Planning has been designed to filter out bright and deserving students for its undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes. For B.Arch, the basic eligibility criterion is the successful completion of 10+2 from a recognised board with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. For B.Des, applicants are required to take a Design Aptitude Test conducted by the management. M.Arch applicants must have completed their bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised university.

Admission to the B.Arch programme at SJBSAP is mainly on the basis of the merit list published by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for KCET. The institute provides 80 seats for this programme. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry and qualified in the KCET exam to be eligible. In addition, scores from JEE Main, COMEDK UGET, and NATA are also considered for admission.
SJBSAP admits 30 students for its B.Des course. It selects students by the Design Aptitude Test carried out by the institute management. Applicants need to undergo this test and qualify following a cut-off limit set for its candidates.
The postgraduate M.Arch in Construction and Project Management programme takes 20 students. SJB School of Architecture and Planning admission is given exclusively on the basis of Karnataka PGCET scores. Nevertheless, direct admission on the basis of valid GATE scores is also possible. This programme is meant for people who completed their undergraduate degree in any of the disciplines of architecture.
SJBSAP provides Ph.D. in Architecture course. However, a master's degree or equivalent degree in the relevant field will be eligible for admission. A written test and interview will be conducted by the institute for admission.
