The college is pretty good in itself. There are two small grounds,a parking,4 buildings,2 libraray,Good wifi but limited connection,The admin office is well supportive but is absent on most of the days. The Area is clean but the classes need regular maintennace.
The teachers are good and the Professors are cool.Regular class is not maintained due to various strikes and meetings. In fact that causes students to be irregular. Not much to add from my side but the studies are going okayish.
Chances of getting a Placement are slim to none. Not much to offer.I don't think i will get any placements offer from my college.I do internships from internshala and preparing for cat this year(Not taking any chances on my career)
For the cost of money,Th package is pretty good.
The campus life is very empty. The gender ratio is very disbalanced and weighs more on the Male side. Not many students are found on the campus except at functions.
Its was good have lot of opportunities like societies and club teacher’s were also very nice and highly qualified Students must visit there and participate in the program and learn about the new things and have opportunities
Its was good facility were so helpful and kind nature There are so many separate departments like B.com bsc bcom hon and good facility and provides informative sessions on current isssues and best paart is you can go to the any department for your help
Good company like Wipro and black rock hcl many research companies also come there is lot of scope in the fiancés and the best part is the student only bring the company in the College help each other for there placement
Yes very less fee’s
Good
It’s been exilent
The College does not have the best infrastructure out there. The campus is small but it has all the basic facilities. Although the campus is small it has good classrooms. The ground is small but you can play with friends there.
The teachers are helpful and ready to guide you in your career. All the teachers have good experience in teaching. The college has adapted to the new curriculum as per the NEP. The teachers will be available to clear your doubts on WhatsApp as well. And they are ready to guide you for your future.
The placements are good. The college's placement cell is working hard to get the best opportunities out there and recently students were placed at top companies with good packages. The maximum package was 25 Lakhs.
The fees is not that high. It is below 10k and many people will be able to afford it. It is valuable if we see it from the fees perspective. It's just that extracurricular activities are fewer as the campus is small. But since the fees is low, this it justifies it.
You will be able to enjoy a good college life. The college is situated in South Delhi and Malviya Nagar market and Saket Mall are the nearest places to hang out. The best is the place the college is located at. The place is safe for everyone if they get late. The teachers are friendly. The drawbacks are that you can see fights in the college, which is common in all colleges these days also since the campus is small so that might be a thing that can make you feel that this college is not good.
The college laboratories (and Computer Lab.) Are equipped with all the necessary equipments. The evening college's library is the best part of the college, the most reliable place for peace and calm studying (well air-conditioned and with free wifi availability). The canteen is not that great but can do with, doesn't offer all the items written on the menu but the prices are affordable. The Classrooms are fine. Evening college does not have a "working" medical room per say.
As an English Hons. Student the academic curriculum taught to us is very inclusive of several aspects that build a strong foundation for those who want to pursue M.A. The teachers have strong hold on their subject and know exactly what they are doing and teaching and impart the same knowledge in students. They make the class interactive and know how to hold students' attention.
I don't have much knowledge regarding this subject but I do know that the evening college has a society called the placement cell that gives students from different courses the opportunity to apply for internships and jobs. For example, recently, Sony had held a recruitment drive in our college campus (offline).
The annual fee for my course (B.A. Hons. English) is ₹6,060 but this only the academic fees, we also have to pay the examination fees separately during the filing of examination form, which is, ₹510 (for my course.)
The campus life is fun (if you have the right friends) to reach the College campus: a 10 min. walk from Malviya Nagar metro station (Gate 1). It is situated opposite to a local market (also includes restaurants and cafes) where you can chill out with friends. Also near DDA park where you can have a fun outing.
college campus is small but the facilities offered are good. Good equipped labs, classrooms. Air conditioned library and computer labs. Wifi facilities are also available. Aurobindo doesn't have hostel facilities but you can find PG at malviya nagar and saket.
I pursued Bachelor of Commerce from here. The faculties I got were awesome. They are polite, have knowledge and ready to help you with your doubts. You can ask for help even if it is not related to your college studies (ofcourse with some only)
Aurobindo is not famous for its placements. It is growing now and sure it'll be great sometime in the near future. The college has its own placement and entrepreneurship cell which is getting good response from others.
I spent around six thousand INR per year as a tuition fees which is worthwile, according to me.
I enjoyed my college life, though i spent only 1.5 years there due to covid but those years were worth remembering. Aurobindo is famous for its integrity and highway (you can hangout here anytime or sometimes, everytime).
The college is not very big in area size. If we talk about basic facilities like water, washrooms, it was very pathetic. Classrooms have benches and desks, Board (Not the smart one), fans and lights. They have a computer lab. I don't know if they had sports centres, drama societies, NCC club etc. but no hostels for sure. Parking was available for teaching and non-teaching staff only. No wifi in the college. I had been to canteen only once during the entire college life, can't say about food :-)
I was studying B.com (Hons.). Quality of teaching was very good. Teachers were quite good at explaining the concepts to us in an easy and simple manner, Specially Business Mathematics, Business Statistics and Accountancy subjects teachers. Yes I think the curriculum was up to date and included all the recent developments. I guess the overall course content was pretty good in making the students ready-to-go for job.
The college didn't have its own placement cell at my time. Although there was and still is, University campus placement cell situated in North Campus opposite to Arts faculty. Because the college didn't have a private placement for their students I am sure students must used to face difficulties in finding jobs off the college campus as I faced too :(
I guess I would have spent INR 10k-15k maximum on my course per year (this amount included INR 4k to 5k on college fees, 1k (approx.) on exam fees, 2k to 3k on books and notebooks, DTC pass ( Rs. 315 in odd sem. And Rs. 515 in even sem.) and other miscellaneous expenses) :-) I really feel that getting graduation degree from this college was totally my money's worth because I got a job after finishing this degree. I must say it is giving high ROI on the amount spent on this degree.
The college campus was not very big. Although it is situated in very posh area of Malviya Nagar and there is very big public park adjacent to college building. Also there is Malviya Nagar market nearby. Yes it is in safe locality and can handle emergencies. Don't know much about activities where students could engage in. Teachers were good and supportive although I found non-teaching staff (Administrative) little rude to students. And I have made some real good friends in college life.
My reviews about college infrastructure and other basic facilities might not be true at present as it's been almost 6 years since I have passed out of the college. Things definitely will have changed by now. Yes college have a library with no sitting facility until a new library was built when I reached in 5th semester. Overall I would say it is a nice college. I really have enjoyed my college life.
The quality of the food was average, and sports and games were also not available. There was a medical room, and there were societies like cultural and dramatics, which were very active. Still, our college doesn't provide much funding to these societies.
Teachers are really nice, supportive and friendly. Quality of teaching is very good. Curriculum is well updated and also includes all the recent developments in the field.Professors are good and well qualified. However the atmosphere of the college is more inclined towards societies and other co cirricular activities so students tend to loose interest in studies once they enter college. But the teachers leave no stone unturned to help them and try to convey whatever is necessary.
Our college has a proper placement cell. This placement cell invites various recruiting agency like Enactus, Amazon, etc. As I am a part of B.A, we only get the placements based on our marks. Around 70% to 90% of the students got placed from our course.
My course b.com fees is ₹ 7000 per year. Yes definitely my money get worth for this course. Because our college provide us all the major and minor facilities which were mandatory for students in this amount.
Campus life is neither so good nor too bad. Due to infrastructure there will be a little disappointment otherwise it's good. The college's nearest metro station is Malvya Nagar which is in between Saket and Hauz Khas. These are the best places in Delhi where you can hangout with your friends anytime.
The structure is quite old, it needs new buildings or any kind of repairs but still satisfactory for a DU college well maintained library, classrooms can be equipped with new furniture and better air conditioners stable wifi would be better and a hygienic canteen would be very appreciated wish it could have a big playground
Currently I'm studying applied psy hons The faculty is very good and very well educated with doctorate degrees always to support you through anything any time. No pressure is provided by any teacher for any assignment or anything very understanding teachers we have
The placements are quite good with excellent institutions calling us for a decent 50000 pm salary in the start but only after you complete your masters and have well enough experience at internship through well known institutions
Just like any DU college what excites the most is bare amount of fees like 13k an year yes of course the course is totally worth everyone should aim to get into DU scoring good in 12th boards especially if you wanna go for psy aim for sri aurobindo evening it is the only college which provides best for applied psychology
College don't have its own ground to play sports like football and cricket .but the college has its own football and cricket team . Players can practice in sports complex and college give expenses of complex to the children
College have qualified teachers better than other colleges. All the teachers are perfectly guided by the principle of the college . Who is a literate lady with a huge amount of knowledge. Teachers also helps children's with their personal problems
Placements are quite nice . 60% of the students who have studied in aurobindo college get placed in rupted companies all over India . College placement cell also works very hard to make their children placed
It provides quality education in low fees
It has a small campus
Overall it is a good college and every student should wish to join sri aurobindo college
Infrastructure is average. They don't have a big ground inside the college but there is a huge huge ground beside the college where the students can do whatever they want. They can play anything , can practice their dance singing or drama.
Teaching is good and the teachers also stay updated. They take class everyday. And provide us with the best information they can. Teachers are also good. They make us comfortable. There are some teachers that are too strict.
Placement cell are up to date. There is a separate placement cell in the college which works for students placement. I don't know much about the percentage . But the placement is sured . They also provide information about some internship.
It is value for money for sure.
Campus Life is good.
