SRIET Coimbatore Facilities

The Sri Ranganathar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore facility provides its students with a well-furnished and well-maintained campus with an environment of peaceful learning. The SRIET Coimbatore provides well-furnished separate hostels for boys and girls with all the basic necessities required by the students. The SRIET Coimbatore infrastructure includes a library, gym, hospital facility, Computer Center Lab (CCL), Database Management System lab and a cafeteria, The VITS Ghaziabad facility also has an auditorium to conduct events seminars and laboratories and a guest house or a waiting room facilities are available for the faculty and student family members.

The SRIET Coimbatore facilities also include sports facilities for both Field events and Indoor games for the students. It also provides its students with the transport facility to have access from the major points of the city and nearby places to SRIET. Currently, it has 10 buses and 2 vans plying to and fro diverse directions.

Boys Hostel
The college has well-furnished separate hostels for boys The rooms are spacious, furnished with modern amenities. the objective is to offer a whole-hearted, homely atmosphere that would encourage students in their academic and personal pursuits Pure RO treated water is provided and absolute cleanliness is maintained. The food is cooked with care and served with love for the young budding engineers.
Girls Hostel
The college has well-furnished separate hostels for girls. Medical/Hospital
The College has a health care unit to provide primary medical support and immediate medical assistance to students and staff members who need quick help.
Gym
The college has a Gym facility for the students. To encourage fitness among students, the campus is provided with a well-equipped Fitness Centre – GYM. The Gymnasium comprises treadmills, Dumbbells, Exercise Bikes, and Body Building equipment. The students and faculty members utilize these facilities regularly to stay fit and healthy.
Library
The College Knowledge is centered on a continuous rise of data and signifies one of the most important wealth of a flourishing nation. Education, Exploration, Innovation, and Economic development involve a fast and transcontinental information source to every place at any time. The library at SRIET is a center of information and a place of learning for all students, researchers, and people seeking reliable information college has a well-stocked library and it is nestled on the first floor of our building in an area of 430 sqm. Our Library has a collection of 6500 volumes of books and 110 national and international print and online journals. The aim of our knowledge bank is to provide information services to the students through print and e-resources to enhance the scholarly and informational needs of the campus community. The fully computerized central library is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of books, print and e-journal CD/DVDs, online databases, and open access system. The strength of the mind is exercise, not rest. The more you read the more capable you become.
Sports
The College has sufficient facilities for both Field events and Indoor games for the students to practice and to conduct the Inter-Collegiate tournaments, Intramural Sports, and Coaching campus. One Soccer Field, one Cricket Ground, one Cricket pitch for net practice, three Tennis Courts, Volley Ball courts, one Ball Badminton court, one Kho-Kho court, one Kabaddi court, and one Tenni-koit court. are available on the campus for students to train themselves.
I.T Infrastructure
Computer Center Lab (CCL) integrates information resources, technological resources, and human resources to provide full-service student support for research, writing assistance, and production of papers and projects in a single environment. It offers a wide array of software including the latest packages for word processing, desktop publishing, and other applications. Database Management System Lab deals with the computerized management of commercial data, designing database systems to manage large bodies of information. It provides an environment that is both convenient and efficient in the storage and retrieval of information.
Cafeteria
The Canteen in the Campus fulfills the catering service for the staff and students by providing delicious and hygienic food/snacks at reasonable rates.
Auditorium
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
Transport Facility
The College Transport facility is provided to have access from the major points of the city and nearby places to SRIET. At present, there are 10 buses and 2 vans plying to and fro diverse directions. The bus facility is provided throughout the year to the students, the faculty, and the staff. No charges are collected from the faculty and staff.
Alumni Associations
The college has good networking for the alumni association.
Laboratories
The lab facility is managed by the Department of Computer Science Engineering. The college labs are fully equipped with systems updated with the latest technologies and equipment to provide an active learning experience and exposure.
Guest Room/Waiting Room
The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
