Classrooms are big enough to accommodate 200 plus students. They are equipped with projectors and speakers. Labs are good. Library is okay and open 24x7 during exams. The hostel i stayed in had 4x sharing so it wasnt great. Food was bad in hostel.
Teachers are good and classes are taken regularly. Practical teaching in pre clinical subjects is good and in clinical subjects patient load is okay. The curriculum for new batches has been updated as per CBME.
A lot of people from my batch started working right after graduation and on average make 6lpa. But these are all off campus placements. There are no on campus placements. It is not very difficult to find jobs post mbbs but a most people opt for higher studies
Classrooms are big, they have basic projectors, mic used to work about half the time. Library is a bit old and run down. Library bathrooms are unusable. Didnt live in hostel so can’t comment but for non nris only 4x sharing is available during ug. For sports, college has a field for cricket, football etc, a basketball court , badminton court and a swimming pool
Lectures are taken daily and on time, there is a mentorship programme to guide you through 1st year. Very strict about attendance. Used to have weekly tests in 1st year. Clinical exposure is also good enough for ug.
There is no system for on campus placements (which is the case for all medical colleges). But you get decent placements on your own. Most of my batchmates have opted for PG but those who havent got starting salaries of around ~8lpa.
infrastructure, facilities and other equipment for practicals are well maintained.......each and every subject is being updated by the faculties every year according to MCI......this college strictly follows the rules of MCI for academics... this college is quit old,so they are renewing areas for playground....very good free spaces for relaxing......Central library is available with 24/7 hrs reading room......bank,atm,courtier,canteen facilities are available inside the campus....
My ambition is to become a famous doctor....I am doing 1st yr MBBS .....Quality of teaching is good but it depends on the students....Students working hard by making use of their mentor's and other faculty members will surely score well.
I have heared both good and bad comments from our seniors...they are developing this part slowly...so by the time our batch come into this part...I hope the placements could be high....the college has very good equipped hospitals and also they have few PHCs under control
The college has good infrastructure and equipped with all the facilities required. The classrooms are huge and can accommodate around 500 students. In addition to the main lecture hall each department have several small classrooms with a capacity of 50 students. They have double storey library with lot of books and a study room adjacent to that. The hostels need a bit more maintenancebut the mess food is hygienic. They have gym and a large sports ground. The living spaces are clean and hygienic.
I am pursuing MBBS.The teachers are very friendly and easily approachable. The classes start on time and the teachers are very punctual and strict about studies and attendance. The curriculum is well updated and they look into it that every new changes are reinforced.
The college offers good placements. There are a number of good hospitals around the college and students usually get jobs there with an annual package of around 5.5 lakhs. Some students who qualify for NEET PG they continue with their studies.
The MBBS course cost Rs.1565000 per year. The money is worth giving. The facilities they provide, the way teachers are always behind us to us learn and the various extra curricular activities makes the money worth giving.
The campus is huge. There are several celebrations like Ganesh Chathurthi,Holi and Diwali.Ina ddition to that there are cultural day,Founder's day and Fresher's also celebrated each year. The campus is full of greenery. It has hostels, staff quarter, hospital, college blocks, cafeteria, temple .
