SJCET Thanjavur, prioritises the well-being of its students by providing a health centre equipped with a first aid facility. This centre is staffed by trained medical professionals who are available to address any health concerns or emergencies that students may encounter. The health centre ensures that students receive prompt and appropriate care, contributing to their overall safety and well-being on campus. 

A library is the heart of an academic institution, which was established in the year 2007. The Library transactions are carried out through Bar Code Technology. The institution encourages all students and staff members to make the best use of the library, which has been carefully built up, since the inception of the college.

Sports competitions such as inter-departmental, inter-collegiate, and inter-university events help develop team spirit and improve interpersonal relationships. Talented students are recognised with medals, trophies, and certificates. SJCET teams have excelled in various sports events, including the Anna University Zonal Championship. Additionally, the Department of Physical Education organises an annual Inter-School Sports Meet and Annual Sports Meet to encourage students to excel in sports.

SJCET Thanjavur has a well-equipped computer lab with systems. Besides these, it also includes well-furnished classrooms, computer laboratories and wifi. 

SJCET Thanjavur has a well-planned canteen that serves quality food and beverages for students and staff on all working days. It offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine, along with soft drinks, fresh juices, and light snacks. The canteen also has a student stationery shop.

SJCET Thanjavur has an auditorium facility for events and seminars. The auditorium has excellent infrastructure with maximum seating capacity which gives a state-of-the-art ambience.

The College has a well-scheduled transport system. To cater to the needs of day scholars, the College provides transportation facilities for the students and staff coming from different locations of the Thanjavur, Kumbakonam, Mannargudi, Trichy, Pattukottai, Thiruvaiyaru, and Pudukkottai. The Institution runs a huge number of buses covering all the important points of the above-mentioned locations.

SJCET Thanjavur has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. This facility helps the students to create and innovate ideas. 

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

SJCET Thanjavur has a guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

SJCET Thanjavur has full-fledged hostel facilities for girls students have been established inside the campus. It also provides good and safe facilities for lodging and boarding to cater to the needs of outstation students. Hostel Students are also permitted to use their computers in their rooms. The mess is spacious with a dining hall and kitchen. Separate seating arrangements are made for both girls. For students’ convenience, we have also included a reading hall, for students who would like to study extra hours.

The College has a Placement Cell at SJCET that is dedicated to giving students an opportunity to excel in their field of career. It is keen on providing skill-based programs that will give students a practical edge in the real world.

Rotaract Club

The Rotaract Club of SJCET is a sponsor club of the Rotary Club of Thanjavur Cosmos. The Rotaract club of SJCET seeks to improve the leadership and professional skills of the students in addition to molding them into responsible individuals. They organize various events that foster the spirit of social responsibility.

Red Ribbon Club 

The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) is a voluntary on-campus intervention program for students in colleges and universities in Tamil Nadu. A state RRC coordinator supervises the program in all its aspects. RRC in SJCET has been functioning effectively since 2007. Every student admitted to the college is an active member of RRC. A 10 Hours Life Skills Enhancement Programme is offered to all students and 25 students are selected as Peer Educators, trained to monitor the social awareness of their localities.
