There is a systematic admission process of St. Thomas College of Engineering and Technology, Mattannur, for B.Tech. The AICTE-approved institution provides five courses in B.Tech with a total of 510 intake. The admission system is designed to select deserving students based on a clean and just process.

Application Process
Application process of St. Thomas College of Engineering and Technology, Mattannur, is as under:
1. KEAM Registration: The applicant has to register for the Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination (KEAM) on the official portal.
2. KEAM Examination: Sit for the KEAM examination on the dates mentioned (April 24-28, 2025 for KEAM 2025).
3. Result Declaration: Keep waiting for the KEAM result announcement.
4. Counselling Process: Follow the centralized counselling procedure conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations for the seats under the government quota.
5. Management Quota Application: For management quota seats, applicants may need to apply directly to the college with KEAM scores and qualifying examination marks.
6. NRI Quota Application: NRI applicants must follow the specific application process and produce documents as laid down by the college.

St. Thomas College of Engineering and Technology enrolls students into five B.Tech courses:
1. B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering - 60 seats
2. B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering Data Science - 60 seats
3. B.Tech Civil Engineering - 30 seats
4. B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering - 30 seats
5. B.Tech Mechanical Engineering - 30 seats
Procedure for admission in all B.Tech courses is as follows:
1. Government Allotment: 50% of the seats are centrally allotted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations based on KEAM scores.
2. Management Allotment: 35% of the seats are under the management quota. Candidates are ranked based on their performance in the qualifying exam and the engineering entrance exam.
3. NRI Allotment: 15% seats for NRI candidates, as per norms and regulations as laid down by concerned authorities.
