Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT)/ Written Test followed by Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test of the short-listed candidates. Final selection shall be based on the combined merit list of SLAT/ Written Test score (50%) and PI-WAT (50%).
Symbiosis Law School (SLS), Nagpur offers admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. SLS Nagpur admissions are completely entrance-based. Symbiosis Law School Nagpur admission to BA LLB and BBA LLB courses is done through the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) followed by Personal Interaction (PI).
SLS Nagpur LLM admission is done based on the candidate's performance in the All India Admission Test (AIAT) followed by a Personal Interaction. Final confirmation of admission will be done only after document verification and admission fee payment. A detailed description of the admission process of SLS Nagpur is mentioned below.

Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur offers admission to BA LLB and BBA LLB which is a five-year full-time undergraduate course. Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Legislative Law is an integrated programme in Law, approved by the Bar Council of India.

Register online for SLAT 2025 and fill out the application form of SLAT 2025.
Only those candidates will be shortlisted for PI who have registered and paid (programme wise fee of Rs 1000 for each programme) to SLS, Nagpur while filling SLAT registration form
Appear for SLAT 2025 (Symbiosis Law Admission Test) as a precondition for admission to SLS Nagpur.
After the declaration of the SLAT result, SLS Nagpur will publish the list of shortlisted candidates who are eligible for the online PI (Personal Interaction) process.
The SLAT 2025 exam carries 70% weightage in the selection process and it is followed by a personal interaction (PI) round which carries 30% weightage in the selection process.
A consolidated scorecard based on performance in the test and PI will prepared. The SLAT 2025 score will be converted to a scaled score out of 70 marks. The PI will be for 30 marks.
Separate merit lists for BBA LLB and BA LLB programmes will be prepared and published.
Later, candidates will have to pay the admission fees and get the document verified to finalise admission.
Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur offers admission to the LLM programme in Business and Corporate Law and Criminal Law and Security Law.

The final selection of candidates will be based on the combined merit list of AIAT (consisting of MCQs and Writing Ability Test) and the Personal Interaction.
Candidates are selected for SLS Nagpur LLM admission based on their performance in the All India Admission Test consisting of a Written Test (Weightage 70%) and Personal Interaction (PI) (Weightage 30%).

SLS Nagpur selects students on the basis of combined merit score of AIAT (70%) and PI (30%).
Candidates have to bring a maximum 250 words SoP (Statement of Purpose) and two reference letters, one from the head and second from the supervisor/professor of the previous college.
Written test of LLM programme admission comprise of objective and subjective questions from the areas of Research Methodology, Legal Reasoning, Legal Aptitude, Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law, Indian Penal Code, Public International Law, Human Rights, Indian Contract Act, Company Law, Family Law and Environmental Law.
AIAT is conducted in online mode. It is a computer-based test.
Symbiosis gives alot of importance to academics. Classes are taken regularly from 9:30am to 4pm. Teachers make the subjects interesting. Students have to be regular and punctual.books are provided by the college.
As a law student, my first year has been great. The faculty over here is awesome. They're very friendly and also explain the concepts upto the point. The curriculum also includes the recent changes and developments that took place in legal field. Subjects like research skills, legal database curb the understanding of law and helps a lot in future competitions.
The faculty members are highly qualified and ready to help any time. With good amount of teaching experience they teach and help students academically as well as professionally so the students are ready to face the legal industry.
