Terna Physiotherapy College, Nerul, is a well-known institute that provides programs for bachelors and masters degrees in physiotherapy. College Admission Procedure: The college adopts a strict procedure for admission to select only the best candidates for their programs. Generally, Terna Physiotherapy College conducts its admission cycle in coordination with the national-level entrance exams. For the undergraduate level, it admits students according to the score achieved in the NEET examination conducted every May of each year. PGP-CET score is the base for admissions for the postgraduate level.

For admission in the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) course, a candidate will need to have completed his/her 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects. Since the NEET examination tests the candidate's knowledge and aptitude in these subjects, it is confidently guaranteed that admitted students will have solid base concepts for physiotherapy studies.

Postgraduate aspirants for Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) program should have acquired their BPT degree from any recognized institution. The PGP-CET tests a candidate's specialized knowledge in the discipline of physiotherapy, enabling him to opt for specialized education.

Application Process

The application process for Terna Physiotherapy College is different for each program:

BPT program

  1. NEET examination by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
  2. Counseling at the state level after the NEET results are announced.
  3. Fill out the college preference form during counseling and make Terna Physiotherapy College one of your choices.
  4. Report to the college after being allotted a seat for document verification and admission formalities.

For MPT courses:

  1. Take up the PGP-CET test.
  2. Take part in state-level counseling procedure for admissions in post graduate physiotherapy courses.

  4. In case one is getting any seat from any of the available MPT seats of Terna Physiotherapy College, student reports to respective colleges for additional admission procedure.

Degree Wise Admission Process

BPT- The 60 intake places of the physiotherapy programs under the auspices of the Terna Physiotherapy College is an admission which can be completed by securing merit according to NEET results. There must be qualifications as completion of 10 +2 with Phy., Chemistry and Biology.

MPT Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy: This PG course has an intake of 12 students. The admissions take place based on the PGP-CET results. Candidate must have acquired BPT qualification from any recognized Institute to be qualified for this Specialized Course.

MPT Neuro Physiotherapy: The institution provides 2 seats for MPT Neuro Physiotherapy. Candidates are admitted with the help of PGP-CET. It is a required qualification to pursue BPT in any recognized college.

MPT Cardiorespiratory and Vascular Physiotherapy: This program also has an intake of 2 seats. Admission is based on PGP-CET scores, and a BPT degree is the prerequisite.

Following documents generally will be used at the time of admission :

  • NEET /PGP CET score card copy
  • 10th and 12th standard marksheets and pass certificate
  • BPT degree certificate and mark sheets (for MPT applicants)
  • Valid ID proof
  • Passport size photographs
  • Domicile certificate if applicable
  • Caste certificate if applicable

According to the reports for the presence of 27% reservation , nearly 1500 seats will get reserved for OBC category students and hence you can expect the cutoff to be 600 or even 595 . However for the Terna Medical College the cutoff may vary upto 560 . However the cutoff varies every year and also statewise.
