Thejus Engineering College, Thrissur will have merit admissions for both government and management quota students. Admission into B.Tech and M.Tech is entirely governed by the latest admission guidelines issued by the Government of Kerala which APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (APJAKTU) and AICTE have approved.
The admission committee considers mainly entrance test scores of the Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination (KEAM) for admission into B.Tech courses.
M.Tech admission requires students to have a valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score. Thus, the approach employed in the admissions process ensures that the best-preferred students are chosen for the limited number of seats allotment within each specific program.
Application Process
This application process for Thejus Engineering College is different for various programs:
For B.Tech Programs:
1. The applicant should appear for the KEAM entrance examination.
2. Register with the centralized allotment procedure of the Kerala government.
3. Choose Thejus Engineering College for the course during counseling.
4. In the event that a seat is allottied, he/she reports to the college for document verification and payment of fees.
For M.Tech Programs:
1. Qualifying to GATE with the minimum score is the first requirement.
2. The applicant will visit the official website of Thejus Engineering College to apply directly or admonished.
3. The aspirants to submit all the above required documents including GATE score card, degree certificates, and mark sheets.
4. In case the college conducts any other selection process the candidate will appear.
Degree wise Admission Procedure
B.Tech Programs: This consists of Computer Engineering and Technology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Electronics & Computer Engineering under the B.Tech program. All B.Tech programs, including the above, take their admission requirements from the KEAM score. Approved intake in these programs varies as follows:
M.Tech Programs: M.Tech Courses are, Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering. Admission is based on GATE scores. The M.Tech Structural Engineering program has been allotted 18 seats; however, other M.Tech programs have not specified their intake.
Candidates must also fulfill eligibility criteria for the M.Tech and B.Tech degree programs as specified by the College and other regulatory bodies, including minimum percentage of marks in qualifying examination (10+2 for B.Tech; Bachelor's degree for M.Tech), in addition to the requisite entrance exam score.
