UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre, Ahmedabad is a premier cardiology and cardiovascular surgery teaching centre. Application Process

Following is the application process for admission to super-specialty courses in UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre, Ahmedabad:

1. NEET SS Registration: The candidates need to register for the NEET SS exam on the National Board of Examinations (NBE) website first.

2. NEET SS Examination: Attend the NEET SS examination on the given dates (March 28-29, 2025). The exam is an online examination that assesses the candidate's ability in their area of broad specialty.

DM Cardiology: Admission into the DM Cardiology program of UN Mehta Institute is done based on the merit list of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Super Specialty (NEET SS). The institute has 18 seats available for this course. The candidates should have completed their MD in General Medicine or Pediatrics to take admission into this course.

M.Ch Cardio Vascular Thoracic Surgery: Admission to the M.Ch Cardio Vascular Thoracic Surgery program is also based on the performance of the candidate in the NEET SS entrance test. The institute's intake capacity for this program is 12 seats. Eligible candidates should have already passed MS in General Surgery.

DM Cardiac Anesthesia: The DM Cardiac Anesthesia course accepts students on the basis of their rank in the merit list of NEET SS. 12 seats are provided for this course by the institute. The candidates holding an MD in Anesthesiology can join this course.
