Unitech Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mirzapur (UIET Mirzapur) is an affiliated college and was founded in the year 2015. It is an institution that focuses on delivering technical education to its students. UIET Mirzapur is an institution was established and is approved by the All India Council for technical Education [AICTE] to meet the standard quality parameters of the country. The institute’s diploma cost structure also provides 3 diploma courses in engineering fields with 168 total seats in many disciplines. UIET Mirzapur has a dedicated faculty of 26 teachers out of which the college tries to keep the student teacher ratio in control to ensure a good teaching learning environment.

UIET Mirzapur has numerous infrastructures tailored to make the learning process of the learners enjoyable and productive. Stocked shelves are required in any school and library because they create serious and efficient centres of learning and research. The college has assembled excellent IT facilities for the enrolment of students and facilitated modern technique for creating education. Departments have their own laboratories where learners can actually practice the theories learnt in class. In addition, for the transport facilates, UIET Mirzapur has provided transport facilites for students and staffs. Functioning as a hall for events, meetings, and cultural events there is an auditorium on the territory of the campus. In addition, similar to education, the college fosters a balance of physical well being by having sporting amenities as well as providing for sporting activities.

The programmes at UIET Mirzapur include 3 diploma programme, this are all full time programme. They include Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Production, Diploma in Civil Engineering, and Diploma in Electrical Engineering. The institute has intake capacity of total 168 students in these programmes. There are 54 seats in each of the main diploma courses. The following are three- year diploma programmes. These courses are intended to provide the students with the required competencies and the relevant conceptual grounding in the chosen fields of engineering.

UIET Mirzapur admission is decided by the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination Polytechnic, abbreviated as JEECUP, which is conducted for admission into B.Tech course as well. This entrance examination is held each year by the Joint Entrance Examination Council, U.P., during the months of April or May. The exam is conducted at different examination centres in Uttar Pradesh and is for the students those who passed 10th, 10+2 or ITI and those who want to do polytechnic diploma engineering course. JEECUP used as the primary entrance of students to get an admission to the diploma courses offered by the UIET Mirzapur.
