Every year in the VBCL Udupi, seats are offered on the basis of merit of the qualifying exam scores. The duration of LLB is 3 years while BA LLB, take 5 years.

certificate from the college where he/she last studied.
SC/ST Caste Certificate and Income
Certificate from the competent authority in case of such candidates seeking admission.
Migration Certificate. (For non-Karnataka students only).
Four Passport size photos.
Aadhar Card
Photostat copies of all the above
documents (except conduct certificate) in three sets.
SSLC marks card, PUC Marks card. Pass certificate (For non-Karnataka Students only) Transfer Certificate and Conduct
Certificate from the college where the candidate last studied.
SC/ST Caste certificates and Income
Certificate from the competent
authority in case of such candidates seeking admission.
Four Passport size Photos.
Aadhar Card
Migration certificate (For non-Karnataka students only)
Photostat copies of all the above documents (except Conduct certificate) in three sets. Non-Karnataka students are required to obtain the Eligibility Certificate from the Karnataka State Law University.

I will compare both these colleges for you.
Vaikunta Baliga Law College- It is the only Law college in Udupi district. The college is one of the best colleges under karnataka state law University. The fees is around 22000 for the first year and internship is compulsory for every student however mostly there is no stipend. As for the placements, the college doesnt really have aplacement cell hence the students have to go under any senior lawyer to work as a practicing lawyer or may be appointed in major companies as a legal officers depending on where the student applies.
ULC Bengaluru- Since it is a state collegeg the fees is around 82000 per year for merit students and around 70% students get placed with the highest package offered being around 69000 per month and the lowest package offered being around 15000 per month. Most choose to work as independent practitioners in high courts or public sectors like HAL, NAL, BHEL or corporate sectors depending on the skill.
