Vasudev College of Law, Haldwani Admission Process

Vasudev College of Law, Haldwani, is a newcomer to law schools. It serves the purpose of imparting quality legal education in Uttarakhand. The college is duly approved by the Bar Council of India for offering two full-time law courses, namely a three-year LLB program and a five-year integrated BA LLB program.  The criterion for admission for law programs at Vasudev College of Law rests on the principles of deservability of candidates.

Eligibility for a three-year LLB program requires candidates to have obtained a bachelor-level degree in any discipline from a recognized university. For admission to the other program, i.e., a five-year integrated BA LLB, it is mandatory for candidates to have cleared their 10+2 examinations from a recognized board. It is advised that details of minimum percentage requirements are verified by candidates from the college.

Application Process

The application process at Vasudev College of Law, Haldwani, is to a large extent, standard;

2. The application should be filled with the correct particulars regarding the candidates' personal and academic achievements.

3. Attach all required documents, which typically include:

Degree wise Admission Process

LLB: The intake for the three-year LLB program at Vasudev College of Law, Haldwani stands at 120 seats. There are no restrictions for admission to this program; it is open to graduates of any discipline. The fee structure for the entire LLB course is Rs 108,100. The requirements for eligibility state that only candidates who have successfully completed a bachelor's degree from an institution recognized by the Indian legal system can take admission for this course.

BA LLB: The five-year integrated BA LLB program also has an intake of 120 seats. In general, the course is configured for students who have passed their 10+2 education. The total fees for the BA-LLB program would be Rs 164,000. For admission, the candidates must have passed their 10+2 examination from a recognized board, preferably with subjects related to legal studies.

If you want to pursue LLB and LLM then CLAT is a single unified entrance test for candidates who want to pursue 3 year LLB, 5 year Integrated LLB and LLM. The entrance examination is conducted annually for UG and PG programmes.
CLAT ELIGIBILITY FOR UG
candidates should have 45% score in their 10+2 with a recognised board.For candidates belong to SC/ST Category there is a minimum need of 40% .

CLAT ELIGIBILITY FOR PG
Candidates should have scored a minimum percentage in qualifying examination (i.e. LL.B./ 5-Year Integrated LL.B. (Hons.)/ any other equivalent exam) for CLAT LLM. The marks vary according to the category of the candidates.
Candidates belonging from Unreserved /OBC /Specially Abled Persons (SAP) and other categories: a minimum of 50% marks are required.
For SC/ ST category – a minimum of 45% marks is required.
On the date of admission, candidates should have passed or appeared in the final semester/final year examination of the qualifying examination.
Candidates need to submit the final result of the qualifying examination within the time alloted by the respective University/Institute. Till then those  candidates are supposed to be given provisional admission.
