VAST Thrissur Placements 2023: The college provides specific training programmes that are schemed to enhance the capabilities of the students to meet the expectations of the industry. Vidya Academy of Science and Technology training and placement department conducts training programmes that help students in developing their language skills, aptitude skills, personality and soft skills. Placement activities are re-aligned to meet the current challenges and the emerging market scenarios. The training and placement department invites companies to visit the campus for the placements.
The companies/organisations give confirmation about the date and time of their visit to the campus.
Students are given details about the placement date and the names of the companies/organisations.
The companies/organisations conduct the placement drive on the mentioned date.
A brief talk (pre-placement talk) about the working of the company and the job role offered by them is shared with the students.
Interested candidates must apply to the company with their CV.
Shortlisted candidates are called for group discussions and campus interviews.
Job offers are granted to candidates who are recruited by companies/organisations.

The quality of the placements is satisfactory. This is one aspect college should work on. The college does not guarantee 100% placement. Civil and mechanical engineering branches have got few companies that come for recruitment as compared to computer science engineering.

Actually there are no proper placement in civil engineering stream . Some companies do offer but they prefer the IT skills in us. In most placements they check and examine based on coding or programming skills.No proper civil engineering companies provide placement for us.Also if they give it will be for only for very less salary like 10k or below.But when it comes for IT dept they offer higher payscale job offers
