Quite spacious campus and a great ambience. classrooms and laboratories are well maintained. Hostels are clean and food is also decent. The facilities are good. sports. the college playground is very big.

Most of the professors are passionate about their job and is approachable. They are not reluctant to provide additional remedial classes for students who need more clarity in concepts. However, academics doesn't make one job ready.

The quality of the placements is satisfactory. This is one aspect college should work on. The college does not guarantee 100% placement. Civil and mechanical engineering branches have got few companies that come for recruitment as compared to computer science engineering.

It depends on the fees that one is paying which varies depending on the entrance score or scholarship. However, it is one of the good private engineering colleges in Thrissur.

Excellent campus life. Equal importance of given to extracurricular activities as well as studies. Ample opportunities to showcase and polish one's talent or skills. The location is safe and is a bus-going route.

Our college have a wonderful infrastructure,the surroundings are very ecofriendly, our campus is surrounded with many trees and plants, it is very clean but there were many street dogs in the area which is quite fearful ,our labs are well equipped, spacious library with wifi facilities, hostel food is kind of okey but many of the students get frequent stomach discomfort and illness

Teachers are really good but there is so much to study, tons and tons of portions to study .I don't think that all these won't give benefits in our practical life. Skill development is not on the focus

Actually there are no proper placement in civil engineering stream . Some companies do offer but they prefer the IT skills in us. In most placements they check and examine based on coding or programming skills.No proper civil engineering companies provide placement for us.Also if they give it will be for only for very less salary like 10k or below.But when it comes for IT dept they offer higher payscale job offers

It cost around 42k for one semester! Even though it was a merit seat. I say its not worthy because we pay lakhs and lakhs to complete the course and we r not getting a good job and if we get a job it will offer very less salary and hectic job Only hope for a civil engineer to survive in this period of time is to get a government job!

College campus is wonderful, it has a wonderful spacious huge auditorium fully air conditioned but wont put AC on for the programs we students need to sit there in the heat for a long time. If they are not ready to put AC atleast they coud fix fan on the ceiling such that that could give a relief. Campus is ecofriendly, tech fest is huge there it was a wonderful experience, Every year college conducts ARTS FEST, ONAM CELEBRATION, CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

The college has all the necessary infrastructure required for an engineering college. The libraries are pretty decent and the sports department is quite strong in this campus. Projectors are present in every classes too.

The quality of teaching is good but not great. The curriculum was not that up-to-date during our time but I am not sure what's the current status. Students graduating from here are not job ready and needs some real world experience.

Poor in terms of placements and internships. Students struggle to get placements after the course, and the college does not guarantee placements. Some students who get placements are placed in IT companies.

The fees is not that high and with scholarships, you could complete your course with minimal fees. Also, the hostel fees is reasonable and food there is quite good. The sports facilities are also good.

Campus life is extraordinary, with many programs and competitions throughout the year. As there are many students in the campus, networking opportunities are huge. Also student activities like NSS make the campus life complete.

High Profiled teachers with great vision and loving attitude towards children. Great faculty with helping mentality. Always guiding in the right way towards studies and life. A beutiful campus with lots of positive energy always builds up my career in a positive way.

At first I was little bit nervous but I now I enjoy being there cause the institution guides me towards the right goal and in the right way. Always with a clear mentality of building a career. But the teachers helped alot and motivated me more towards studies and other extra curricular activities.

I have heard that the college owns the most placement done for the final years in the district and has a vide variety of companies participating in the job placement cell . This always gives a better positive feeling about the future.

I completely not say that this is worth but I feel that it is quite ok and better when compared to other collages . The motivation and freedom they give is priceless and always gives a positive vibe towards carrier.

Experience was overall good and was satisfied as the faculty was promising and supportive . The placement cell is good and is ready to help us in all possible ways and encourages us to go for projects and activities.

I personally felt the collage could have additional branches so that the students could opt from a vide variety of branches rather than choosing from a small area. Also , they could conduct more and more intership programs which I personally felt and could have more lab facilities in civil and mechanical areas which are the much needed one for an engineer.

This college beats exceptional infrastructure that exceeds expectations. Its stunning auditorium and well stocked library invite academic pursuits and cultural events. With expansive sports grounds for basketball, Volleyball, football and Cricket and all indoor sports. Great classrooms and well equipped workshops and IT labs.

Teachers are well qualified and it comes under KTU university where academics are not up to the marks. Teachers do their best for the students to make them great engineers. Even after the education they will behave like our mentors for every possible situation

There is no placement assistance for all the department and not assuring any placements for the students. Even they don't provide any internship opportunity and industrial visits. CSE department have some placements assistance.

Its a great opportunity to do graduation in VIdya

I am very happy in terms with the college infrastructure. The college ensures that it provides one of the best infrastructures that competes with the top institutions. The campus is really clean and environment friendly. Classrooms are well maintained and we also have a good library with wide choices of books. All the labs, workshops are well equipped and fully utilized.

I am doing electronics and communication engineering. I chose it because I am aware that this is the industry that is gonna take over the world in the near future. And the college is also really aware of this fact and they try to provide the best materials with constantly updated curriculum. And we also have webinars and workshops on the latest tech out there. They provide us with all the knowledge that makes us job ready.

In terms of placements, I think it's really good for a private college. Most of the placement opportunities favour the Computer science and electronics department. Getting into core companies are a little difficult but not at all impossible. And a wide range of companies like Amazon, TCS etc come for the on-campus placement. The college has a really active and updated placement cell which ensures to give quality and professional training to all students.

I had to pay around 60k per year. The college offers various scholarships and other kinds of support to all students. Above all that, it also ensures that students with genuine problems are assisted financially by providing them with extra scholarships.

The college campus is really a memorable one here too. It is really environmental friendly and has actually got some cool places you can hangout with your friends. A lot activities like sports, tech fests, cultural fests etc are conducted every year,( even in this lockdown period. ). All the teachers and staff members are really caring and supportive. And as it is near to the junction, most of the emergencies are handled well

Classrooms are well developed and organised. All are well maintained. The canteen is good and provides hygienic food with affordable price. Altogether a good environment to nurture.But still need some progress.

The academics of Vidya Academy Science and Technology is well compared to the other self financing colleges. The teachers are really supportive and helping. And as a whole the support from students are very good.

Good academic atmosphere with a bunch of educated and helpful mind faculty. Remedial classes are given to help us with academics. The college is under the KTU university. College has always been trying to polish our skills in order to meet the existing job demands.

Vidya Academy of Science and Technology is situated in a serene and picturesque place,Thalakottukara, Thrissur, Kerala. Vidya is equipped with an excellent infrastructure that is well-maintained which includes an auditorium of international standards, modern computing facilities, library with e-journals, labs for all courses,language lab, counseling cell, broadband facility, expansive playground, hostel facilities, modern canteen and cafeteria, medical centre & bank within the campus.

Vidya Academy of Science and technology is approved by AICTE and affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. Moreover, Department of Civil Engineering and Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has got the NBA accreditation. The faculties are well qualified with post graduation or above qualification. The management and faculties are at most ready to help their student grow technically, academically and give them the best exposure possible.

Various training are given to the students to polish their capabilities to meet the industrial demands. Students are placed in IT , Non-IT and even public sector companies. Some of the leading recruiters includes IBM, Infosys Ltd,Accenture, Sutherland and many more. Vidya has also signed MOU for training programs, employments , opportunities with ICT Academy of Kerala, BOSCH, SRC, Keltron CDAC. In 2018, 217 offers made and 176 placements. In 2019, 321 offers were made and 230 placement .

Fee for students under government steats are allotted by the government itself which is usually below 85k . But for managements seats , fee is fully based on a student's merits. Various scholarships are also provided by the college to its eligible meritorious and needy students . Its's worth it investing .

Overall, Vidya is one of the best options in Kerala. Vidya has offered me a good academic and college life. The faculties do their job the best. Vidya has a good student environment , it would surely be your second home. More over, the academic dean, management and faculties are really supportive for all our endeavors. There are various clubs for us which includes IEDC, NSS, DSC, FOSSers, V-CAIR..The cultural days and sports days add even more colors (even technically ).

Alumnus are always supportive. They are always ready to mentor the students.

The college has nice infrastructure. The auditorium, playground, hostel, and canteen are being in a very comfortable place. The centralized library and e labs are a great area to accelerate our knowledge.

Very expert facilities. The teachers are very friendly and very supportive in every step of students, both careers based and extracurricular activities also. Each department is providing add on courses to students so they can update themself to the exponentially changing environment of industries.

The placement cell is doing a great job in college. They are arranging mock interviews, pre-placement training, and weekly 3hrs are being allocated for placement training. They use to conduct a 3-day pre-placement training which helps students to evaluate themself and improve.
