VREC Nizamabad Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Vijay Rural Engineering College (VREC), Nizamabad,  as an AICTE-approved institute affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. Generally, the admission cycle of VREC goes hand in hand with the academic season beginning around August-September. While the dates are subject to change with each passing year, students should begin preparing for the related entrance examinations months in advance. Applications are usually invited for admission to an institution after the announcement of the examination results, usually, in May-June. The major eligibility criteria under-graduate engineering programs include passing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. 

With regard to the MBA programs, candidates must have been able to perform a bachelor-type apprentice from any recognized university with specifications probably being different for various courses per the guidelines set by the state government and the affiliating university. The college chooses candidates based on scores obtained in the state-level entrance examinations. For B.Tech programs, admission is conducted through the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). 

Application Process

Application procedure for Vijay Rural Engineering College will vary according to the program:

For B.Tech Programs:

1. Qualify in the TS EAMCET examination.
2. Register for the state-level counseling process.
3. Choose VREC and preferred courses during counseling.
4. If allotted, report to VREC for document verification and admission formalities.

MBA program

1. Appear and qualify in the TSICET examination.
2. Participate in the state-level counseling process for MBA admissions.
3. Select VREC as your preferred institution during counseling.
4. If allotted, complete the admission process at VREC.

Diploma programs:

1. Qualify in the TS POLYCET examination.
2. Register for the diploma admission counseling process.
3. Choose VREC and desired diploma course during counseling.
4. If selected, report to VREC for admission procedures.

The selection process is primarily based on the candidate's performance in the respective entrance examinations and their rank in the state-level counseling. VREC adheres to the reservation policies of the state government.

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Tech: VREC courses currently include six B.Tech programs with a total of240 seats. Admissions are based on TS EAMCET scores. The degree in which the programs are awarded includes Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.The intake for each program ranges from 30-60.

MBA: The college offers an MBA program with an intake of 60 seats. The admissions are based on TSICET. Candidates qualifying in TSICET will be accepted for admission into the MBA program in VREC.

Diploma: VREC conducts diploma courses in various engineering disciplines with a total intake of 300 seats. Diploma programs offered are Diploma in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Civil Engineering. The intake for each program is 60. Admissions will be under TS POLYCET.

General documentation needed for the admission includes:

• TS EAMCET/TSICET/TS POLYCET rank card and hall ticket
• 10th and 12th standard mark sheets and certificates
• Transfer certificate from the last attended institution
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Income certificate (if applicable)
• Aadhar card
• Recent passport-size photographs.
