The World Institute of Technology (WIT), specifically in Gurgaon, which is in India, is becoming one of the reputed institutions in the country with its range of programs in engineering, technology, and management. The admission process is fair and adheres to the merit-based system, ensuring a very high standard of education and quality of students.
WIT offers B.Tech and M.Tech programs, as well as diploma and BBA courses. The admission process to all differently classified programs is entrance-based and competitive. The entrance examination varies based on the level of program and specialization concerned.
WIT accepts scores from the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination)-Main for all B-Tech aspirants, which is a national-level examination concerned with admissions into engineering programs. Out of this outcome, WIT can select qualified students having good credentials in the areas of science and mathematics as an essential foundation for studying engineering.
For Admission under Postgraduate programs (main missing discussion of M.Tech), grades are counted from either Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or a similar national examination based on choice around mechanical, civil or electrical streams for postgraduate engineering programs in India.
Application Process
The process of applying for admission to various programs of the World Institute of Technology, Gurgaon is different:
For B.Tech programs:
1. Clear the JEE Main.
2. Participate in the centralized counseling process for engineering admissions for the state of Haryana.
3. Choice of WIT and the preferred B.Tech course in the counseling process.
4. In case a seat is allotted, reporting to WIT becomes mandatory for verification of documents and fee payment.
M.Tech:
1. Qualify for GATE.
2. Apply directly to WIT against GATE score.
3. Short-listed candidates may call for any further rounds of selection.
4. Final selection will be made on the basis of GATE score and other criteria as decided by the Institute. WIT is, however, encouraging candidate eligibility based on academic performance in their qualifying degree.
For Diploma programs:
1. Check the official website of the Institute or contact the admissions office regarding the procedure for application.
2. Complete the application form along with required documents and application fee.
3. Selection may be based on academic performance in the 10th standard or a relevant entrance exam.
For BBA program:
1. The application is directed to WIT or through the management designated admission process.
2. Submit the academic records, entrance exam scores (if applicable), and all required documents.
3. Attend other rounds of selection, if any, as specified by the Institute.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: JEE Main scores are the basis on which candidates get admissions into the following B.Tech programs: Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Civil Engineering. The total number of B.Tech seats is 180, where CSE and Mechanical Engineering each have 60 seats; 30 seats are allotted to each of the other two programs.
M.Tech: This is based on GATE scores and the institute has 9 seats for the M. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering program. Candidates with valid GATE scores are eligible to apply, and the selection process may include consideration of academic performance in the qualifying degree.
Diploma: The institute offers diploma courses in Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. The number of seats in the Mechanical Engineering diploma is 60, whereas for Civil Engineering the total is 30. The admission process for diploma courses may involve a separate entrance exam or may be based on academic performance in the qualifying examination.
BBA: The institute has launched a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course with a capacity of 60 students. A typical admission process will include academic qualifications in 10+2 and/or scores from relevant management aptitude tests.

Here I am pursuing BTech (Computer Science Engineering) from this Institute. The department has qualified and experienced faculty members in Computer and Software Engineering Domains. The department offers Data Structure Laboratory, PC Lab, DBMS Lab, Internet Lab, Operating System Lab including many others too which makes students compitable enough to get a high paying job easily.
