Master of Philosophy in Applied Economics is a one-year duration full-time course offered by Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi.


Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have passed in Master's degree examination in the subject concerned of any of the Universities approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or an examination accepted by the Academic Council as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent to grade B in the UGC 7- point scale.

Admission Details

  • The admission to and conduct of M Phil programme will be governed by the latest regulations for M Phil approved by CUSAT.
  • A relaxation of 5% of marks shall be given to the SC/ST candidates in the qualifying examination.
