The candidate should have passed Bachelor's degree in Fisheries / Food Technology / Food Science / Food Microbiology / Biochemistry / Zoology with at least 55% marks in optional subjects. Bachelor's degree in Fisheries includes Industrial Fisheries / Aquaculture / Fishery Science / Industrial Fish & Fisheries / B.F.Sc (Nautical Science). Bachelor's degree in Food Technology / Food Science includes B.Tech / B.E. / B.Sc. in Food Science and Technology / Food Science and Management /Food Science / Food Technology / Food Processing Technology / Food Science and Quality Control.
