CUSAT Kochi Placement Procedure

CUSAT Kochi placement cell sends invitations to recruiting companies for campus recruitment.
CUSAT Kochi placement cell then fixes the dates with various recruiters based on the salary packages and other eligibility criteria offered by the recruitment companies.
Interested students have to register their names and share their respective resumes with the placement cell.
Students of CUSAT Kochi are given pre-placement talks by different recruiting companies to make them aware of the policies, roles, and job profiles offered by them.
Eligible candidates also have to appear and qualify for the written test, group discussion and interview round.
The written test consists of multiple choice questions related to Quantitative aptitude, Logical and Reasoning ability, English competency, etc to test the skills and basic knowledge of students.
After clearing the written test, students have to qualify for the group discussion round where they have to speak on topics decided by the recruiters to judge the communication and speaking skills of students
After clearing the GD round, students also have to clear various rounds of Interviews namely Technical Interviews and HR Interviews which are conducted to test the communication and management skills of students.
Based on the performance of students in the written test, GD round and interview students will be offered placements in different companies with varying salary packages.

The chance for placement begins in the fifth trimester, in addition to the replacement offer. Campus visitors from Microsoft, Dabur, JP Morgan Chase and Company, Goldman Sachs, and DE Shaw. 200 candidates were hired. Microsoft's top domestic package is Rs. 45 Lacs, and the typical is Rs. 21 Lacs. Trade are among the available profiles. I intend to work for a reputable trade company like Cargill, Olam International, or Cofico after receiving my degree.

Hello,

Christ University Bangalore is better for industry exposure because it is in the AI hub of India. It has strong placements and an updated curriculum focused on AI and ML applications. However, the fees are higher, and it is more industry-oriented than research-focused.

CUSAT is a government university with lower fees and a strong research focus. It is better if you are interested in deep research and academics. Placements may not be as strong as Christ University, but the course structure is solid.

If you want jobs in AI/ML quickly, choose Christ. If you prefer research, choose CUSAT.
