Educatees are admitted into the courses based on the eligibility norms of the FRI Dehradun. Candidates are offered FRI Dehradun courses in different branches of study such as Forestry, Agricultural Science, Pulp and Paper Technology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Chemistry, Botany, and others. FRI Dehradun's PG courses are M.Sc Forestry, M.Sc. Environment Management, M.Sc. Wood Science and Technology, M.Sc. Cellulose and Paper Technology.
The Forest Research Institute Dehradun PhD courses in Forest Seed Technology, Ph.D. Bio-Informatics, Ph.D. Environment Management, Ph.D. WildLife Science and Others. All the FRI Dehradun’s courses are offered full-time for a duration of two and six years. Students meeting the prerequisites as predetermined by the FRI Dehradun are eligible to apply. Various programmes were conducted by FRI Dehradun to create consciousness about forests and the environment among the students.
Facilities in our college are very good. The infrastructure is good. Lab facilities are good. The hostel facilities are superb. There is a separate hostel for boys and girls. The mess is clean and hygienic. Sports facilities and medical facilities are good. Many extracurricular activities are conducted here.
Master of Science in Computer Science is a full-time two-year course degree offered by Forest Research Institute, Dehradun and approved by ICFRE.

Programme includes courses in modern areas of applied paper science, industrial processing and paper technology. The rank obtained for marks and cutoff marks for admission changes every year as they depend on factors like number of student applied, category etc.

You can try for the private medical colleges or otyer medical courses like B.A.M.S, B.U.M.S etc.

A lot of career opportunities is available in this field. The career opportunities are available in public as well as in private sector.
Those holding bachelor’s degree in forestry can apply for the Central government through the Indian Forest Service (IFS) examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.
You can become forest officer, forestry technician, lecturer, forest professionals, forestry consultant etc.
The degree course of the Wood Sciences and Technology Program is designed to prepare students for the challenges of a wood products industry career.
After pursuing this course, you can become design engineer, market researcher, project manager, wood technologist etc.
You can choose either of these fields according to your interest.
