The college provides a well-maintained hostel for boys with facilities like water supply, electricity, common rooms, basic furniture and sports facilities. 

GADVASU Ludhiana provides neat and clean well-furnished hostel facilities for girls. The hostels are spacious with recreation rooms, electricity, water supply and other facilities. 

The college provides an automated and computerised library for students and staff.  The library has access to a wide range of books, journals and e-books in the fields of Veterinary Sciences, Animal Husbandry, Livestock Management and poultry Sciences, Fisheries and Aquaculture, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Animal Nutrition and allied subjects. The services provided by the library are lending, online access to journals, database access, online public access catalogue, subsidy scheme, reservation to books and photocopying services. 

The college has well-equipped laboratories for students and faculty members, The laboratories are available in departments like food safety and quality assurance, molecular diagnostic laboratory of zoonotic diseases, brucellosis laboratory, parasitic zoonoses laboratory, antibiotic residues and antimicrobial resistance laboratory, environment pollutants laboratory, epidemiology laboratory and more. The laboratories have advanced equipment like high-performance liquid chromatography with accessories, a spectrophotometer system, an ultra-low temp deep freezer, and an atomic absorption system. 

The college provides infrastructure for sports activities like athletics, table tennis, badminton, cricket and basketball. The college also provides sports training facilities and encourages students to participate in sports events and tournaments. 

The college has a well-maintained and spacious auditorium with an audio-visual aid facility. The auditorium is used for conducting guest lectures, academic events and cultural programmes.
