24 MonthsThe two-year Master of Science (MSc) programme at IISER Pune is a new programme, launched in the Academic year 2022-2023. It is aimed at highly motivated students with a bachelor's degree in any branch of science, who are interested in an intense in-depth enquiry in specialized areas of research and education, as available in different Departments in IISER Pune.

Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 60% marks in aggregate (overall percentage; not only in majoring subject) or an equivalent C.G.P.A. on a 10-point scale (55% or an equivalent C.G.P.A. on a 10-point scale in aggregate for SC, ST, and PWD candidates) in B.Sc. in any specialisation or B.E./B.Tech.
Candidates in the final year of their Bachelor's degree are also eligible to apply. However, their final selection is subject to their successful completion of the Bachelor's degree with the above-mentioned requirements at the time of admission.
Admission Details
(a) Appeared in JAM 2025* in MA or MS only. Candidates will be shortlisted based on JAM rank.
OR
(b) Appeared in NBHM 2025* examination for Masters Scholarships. Candidates will be shortlisted based on NBHM score.
*The rank/ score must be valid at the time of admission.
