the basic eligibility criteria is candidate must have a graduate or post graduate degree with the pattern of 10+2+4/10+2+5/10+2+3+2 with a Minimum of 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 (for general category )on a 10-point scale in the Qualifying Degree course exam. for sc/st/pwd candidates it is cgpa 6/10, or 55% marks on b.e /b.tech/mcom or equivalent/m.sc courses , since you have not completed msc you are not eligible to apply.

Yes isi exam is a little harder to crack but don't worry with proper hardwork and practice you will be able to score well in the exam and don't be anxious every other entrance exam has a certain level of difficulty to choose the best among the rest.
To prepare for the exam you should know the exam pattern throughly which is as follows:- t here are two parts of the entrance examination i.e. part-1 and part-2. Part-1: the entrance exam will be of objective nature which will comprise of the multiple-choice questions. part-2: Exam will be of descriptive nature comprising of short answer type questions. In addition to that, there will be some questions from reasoning also in the entrance test.

The cut-off of ISI exam is every year. For multiple choice questions sections, the cut off usually remains around 60 to 75 out of 120 based on the difficulty of the questions Whereas the cutoffs for subjective type questions remains from 35-50 out of 80.

Master of Technology in Cryptology and Security is two years full-time postgraduate course and this degree offered by Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata.
No fees are charged by the Institute for any of the other academic programmes.
Every student is allowed to use the library facilities available in the Institute, on payment of a security deposit of Rs. 2000 which is refundable at the end of the course.
Students staying in the Institute's hostels are required to pay a security deposit of Rs. 5000 which is refundable at the end of the course, and the recurring mess charges.

The eligibility criteria as given in the information brochure of ISI is as follows:
In order to be eligible for admission to this programme, an applicant must have successfully completed 10+2 years of Higher Secondary Education (or its equivalent) with Mathematics and English as subjects.
No particular percentage of marks (in 12th Boards) is necessary to get admission in ISI (However, to qualify the examination is mandatory).

Yes there is a category wise reservation in ISI.
Following is the number of seats available for different categories for Bachelor’s courses:
Total seats : 50
General : 25
OBC-NCL : 14
SC : 7
ST : 4
There is a reservation in application fee also. Application fee for the General category candidates is Rs.1250 while for other category candidates, it is only Rs. 625.

The possible way to score good in this exam is firstly understand the pattern of the paper then do previous years papers.
Know the high weightage topics.
Check out the previous year cutoff and understanding the variation of marks Vs rank in the paper, all these will help you to figure out how to make good strategy to start you preparation in right direction . Work smart as time is not left much more.

Free Wi-Fi, medical facilities, sports facilities are available in the campus. The food in the canteen is not that . The hostel rooms are for single accommodation .In classroom there are projectors, AC and those are well maintained.There is also the availability of gym.
